Specs:
The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The circuit board is sealed, which means that water will not damage the diodes or circuit board.
A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

Hello, neighbors. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Peterson Clearance or Side Marker Light Kit. It's submersible with an LED chrome housing and amber lens finish. So folks, this LED trailer light does serve as a clearance or side marker light when properly mounted, and with the gasket and everything, and the install screws, and the wire included as well. So it's gonna give you a nice looking clearance or side marker with a waterproof housing and the LED lens unit.
Has a nice, durable chrome plated housing, as you can see there with, obviously, an amber lens. It is surface mount to the trailer with the two included screws, and it does include the single wire plug here as well. So basically it's getting grounded on the trailer frame and you're powering up the one wire with power. It is P2 rated, DOT compliant. It is two and a quarter inches long by one and a quarter inches wide or tall, however you wanna say it.
And the light itself is three quarters of an inch thick. Now I do wanna get this powered on for you so I can kind of demo it lit up. So bear with me. Okay, let me hook this back up real quick. Come on.
All right, so we've got the nice amber light. This is daytime. I'll shut the overhead lights off so you can see it at night. And if you we inchesre from the side roughly, something like that. So it puts up a pretty good, decent amount light.
I'll zoom out so you can see it far away. And then again, if it was pointed sideways. So it's easy to see. Very, very visible. It's what you want, especially when you're out there on the road for safety and whatnot. So again, this is the amber option. We do also carry this in a red option as well. You can buy that separately here at etrailer.com. Nice one year warranty. This again is the Amber Peterson Clearance of Side Marker Light. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
Thanks...just what we needed!!
