Getting this light in place is straightforward. It mounts on the surface of your trailer using standard hardware (not included) and includes a 2-wire pigtail—one power lead and one ground wire—for easy connection to a 12-volt power source. The mounting holes are spaced 1-15/16" center to center, so lining it up is simple.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a trailer clearance and side marker light. Now this light adds or replaces a light on your trailer. It does function as both a clearance or side marker light when properly mounted and it features a weather proof housing and lens that is very strong and durable. It does have the clear lens and it contains two red LEDs. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter and they are much more efficient.
You don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments.You also notice that this light has a two wire design. Red wire for power, white wire for ground. It is designed to mount on the surface of your trailer. Hardware not included but it does have the cut outs here so that way you can run the wiring out to maintain a flat surface mount design.It's SAE and Department of Transportation compliant. We're gonna take a look at the dimension real quick and then we can hook it up to power and see what it looks like with some power running to it.
Overall length measuring edge to edge is about two and five eighth inches. The overall width is about an inch and a quarter. The overall depth, that's how far it sticks out from the mounting surface, that's three quarters of an inch deep. The mount holes on the unit are separated on center by one and seven eighth inches and they each have a diameter of a quarter inch.We're gonna go ahead and hook it up to power, again, our red wire is our power wire, white wire is ground. So, you can see here it sends out a nice consistent signal, the clear lens allows plenty of light to come through and it contains two red LEDs so, the multi diode design really helps optimize the overall light output.And that's gonna do it for today's look at the trailer clearance and side marker light..
