Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Terran Industries spindle for your 5200 to 7000 pound trailer axle with a four inch drop. Now this drop spindle is going to be a weld on option for compatible 5200 to 7000 pound trailer axles. So this can be used to replace a worn or damaged spindle or as part of a custom axle build. But what makes this one different from a standard straight spindle, is gonna to obviously be the four inch drop, which is going to help lower the trailer's ride height on a compatible setup.
And this was really geared towards someone doing axle repair or fabrication. And since this spindle welds directly to the axle, getting the fit and alignment right is gonna be very important. So it is a good idea to get someone who has experience with welding to install this because it's not going to be just a normal simple installation. On this product page underneath the photo section, we have a link that will take you to our installer locator. If you click that link and answer the questions that it has for you, that locator will find an installer in your area that etrailer has partnered with to install this spindle for you so you don't have to worry about it.
So again, because this is a weld on spindle, the alignment is going to have to be precise. And if it isn't installed square and concentric with the axle, it can create problems such as wheel tracking problems and uneven tire wear problems. So do take advantage of our installer locator. Well, I think it's going to wrap up our look today. Again, my name's Andy, thank you for joining me.
