products were excelent and service great and you were the only company to carry the axle nut i was starting to worry but you had it and the washer it the little things that count thanks john l

by:

Well, I believe I received the wrong item (Castle Nut). The 4 I received has a much courser thread than the ones I needed.

by:

Fast and courteous shipping

by:

Fast shipping product as stated.

by:

Looks good arrived today.

by:

Ordering process was fine, shipping was good. Only problem was I ordered the wrong size spindle nut (7/8") should have ordered a 1" one. Placed 2nd order for correct size nut. Other parts were correct size. These parts are to be used on a Master-Tow tow dolly to replace bad ones.

by:

The spindle nut I ordered was the incorrect size. Should have shown the 1 inch spindle nut on the page as well as the 3/4 inch.
I had no idea there was more than 1 size.

The grease seals worked perfectly.

by:

All the parts Hubs , Bearings and trailer tires come in perfect condition and on time delivered. I will shop again from Etrailer.
The prices was better than other places.

by:

Fast shipping- new hub. Replaced China bearings with high load Japan bearings from NAPA. Cheap CHINA bearings were the reason I had to replace the hub !

by:

Definitely worth the investment. Makes removal and installation of most 2.72" dust caps a breeze

by:

Needed a spare castle nut to go with my spare hub. ETrailer had the part and I received it within three days. Can always depend ob etrailer for parts and pieces.

by:

Ordered and received two 7/8 x 14 castle nuts- these may technically be called slotted but whatever. Everything was good, no issues.

by:

good product great shipping and track ing

by:

Two orders in last two weeks both came in 2 or 3 days product was good and I am happy with etrailer and their service.

by:

They carry stuff that no on else does. And excellent service too.

by:

I got exactly what I ordered. In a world where that big box website is the competition, this came extremely fast. I was pleasantly surprised to see the parts show up in a few days.

by:

Very satisfied with the product. Shipping was fast. Definitely recommend.

by:

Very happy, it's a good product. Very fast shipping.

by:

Spindle nut. Nice finish, nice threads, nice price, fast delivery.

by:

Fast shipping

by:

5 stars! The best customer service that I have ever experienced. Thank you

by:

Please be advised all of you that take a few moments to read this ! ! !

Delivery and quality and price are FIRST CLASS ! ! !

Some thieves at a local store in South Carolina charge almost 20 times as much of the price for this item. ROBBERS ! ! ! !

Although this is a small entity - it brings up the saying "BUYER BEWARE"

by:

They worked just the way i would expect.

by:

Excellent product and value

  • Washers Compatible With 7/8 Inch Castle Nut
For castle nut # 165931, for a D washer use part # 5-23 or round washer use part # SW1000. These are both for 1 inch spindles but are compatible with the 7/8 inch castle nut assemblies. You can also use the Replacement Spindle Washer - Tang Type for E-Z Lube # 5-101.

  • Replacement Castle Nut
Hey, Mark! Sure do! We have 1" which is part # 165686 and 7/8" which is part # 165931. They don't come with a cotter pin so you would also need part # 165649. If that's all you need then you're all set!

  • Correct Spindle Nut, Washer, and Cotter Pin for 7/8 Inch Diameter Spindle
Yes, the Washer Spindle Tongue part # 165863 will work with 7/8" diameter spindles. If you also need the castle nut and cotter pin as well we have these available as part # 165931 and part # 165649.

  • Spindle Nut That is Slightly Larger Than 3/4 Inch
Although we don't have any way of knowing the spindle nut you need for your trailer, we do have something slightly larger than 3/4 inch diameter which may work, the 7/8 inch Spindle Nut # 165931.

  • Replacement Trailer Hub Components for Trailstar Trailer with Idler Hubs
Hubs that use # L44649 inner and outer bearings are idler type hubs like # AKIHUB-440-2-2K. The correct matching race is indeed part # L44610. We offer these as individual parts but we also offer a complete bearing kit # BK1-150 that includes bearings, races, grease seal with o-ring, tang spindle washer and cotter pin. For a D washer use part # 5-23 and for a castle nut use part # 165931.

  • Replacement Seals and Castle Nut for 2000-lb Dexter Axle with EZ-Lube Spindles and 5-Lug Hubs
The best way to identify replacement grease seals (and bearings and races) is by the original part reference number. The linked photo shows the typical location and appearance of these part numbers. It can be a bit of work to get the parts clean enough to read the part numbers, but this is the preferred method. The alternative is to take precise measurements (of the seal itself or the spindle) using a digital caliper. You can then use the seal's part number or its inner and outer dimensions...

  • Height and Wrench Type of Spindle Nut for Axles with 7/8 - 14 Castle Nut
I reached out to the manufacturer who told me the Spindle Nut for Axles with 7/8" - 14 Castle Nut # 165931 height is 3/4 inch and wrench size is 1-1/4 inch. I've added a link to a video review for you to check out as well.

  • Replacement Spindle Jam Nut for EZ Loader Boat Trailer with Grease Zerk at End of Spindle
The thread diameter of spindle jam nut # 6-191 is 1 inch. If you do need a 3/4 inch then this nut will not work, though it is for EZ lube spindles that have the grease zerk at the end. We do not have a 3/4 inch jam nut. The closest match is a 7/8 inch castle nut # 165931. You can double check the measurement by using dial or digital calipers to measure the diameter of the threaded part of the spindle. It if turns out to be 1 inch then you can use # 6-191.

  • Availability of a Replacement Castle Nut for Trailer Spindle
We have a few options that could work for you, but you will need to measure the threads of your spindle to determine which would work. For a 1 inch spindle nut you would need the part # 165686, for a 7/8 inch nut you would need part # 165931. These are the two most popular sizes.

  • How Tight Should Spindle Nut Be When Installed
If you are talking about a castle nut when installing bearings on a wheel you will want to make sure the hub is seated properly, back off the castle nut until it is loose. Then tighten the castle nut until it stops and look where the cotter pin hole lines up with one of the notches on the nut. If you have a tang washer you will need to do this by sight. Next, you will want to back the nut off one notch, so that the cotter pin will fit through the castle nut. Then install the cotter pin...

  • How Do I Grease My Wheel Bearings on My DRV 39DBRS3 Fifth-Wheel Trailer?
In order to grease the bearings on your DRV 39DBRS3 fifth-wheel trailer, you will need to physically remove the hub and the bearings in order to grease the bearings. I went ahead and attached a walkthrough article that talks about how to remove the components.

  • How Tight Should a Castle Nut Be On Boat Trailer Spindle
There isn't a torque spec for a spindle castle nut like part # 165931. The castle nut will need to be tightened until there is no side to side play with the hub and then backed off a quarter of a turn or until the cotter pin or retainer clip lines up. There is not a specific value for this.

  • Spindle Nut with 1-1/2-Inch Inside Diameter
We offer several sizes of spindle nut shown on the linked page. One of these, part # 6-96, has an inside diameter of 1-1/2-inches and a fine thread.

  • Replacing A Castle Nut On An Axle Rated For 2,500 Lbs
It appears you need a spindle nut. We have a couple of options for you to work with your 2,500 lbs axle: The Trailer Spindle Nut 1", part, # 165686 and the Washer For 1", part # SW1000 Replacement Trailer Spindle Jam Nut, part # 6-191 and the Replacement Nut Retainer for 6-191 Jam Nut, part # 6-190 They each have 14 threads per inch and work with axles with 1" spindles. Each spindle nut needs either a washer or a nut retainer. If your spindle uses a cotter pin, you will need the first...

  • Available Sizes of Spindle Nuts and Nut/Washer Kits
The smallest spindle nut/washer kits we carry are for 1-inch spindles like # TRU94FR which are typically found on 2000-lb axles. We do offer a 7/8-inch inner diameter spindle nut # 165931 by itself but nothing for a 3/4-inch spindle as might be found on a small import trailer.

  • Replacement Seals and Castle Nut for Boat Trailer
Hey TIm! The seal we definitely have. You can use the # RG06-010 which is a pair of seals. The closest thing we have on the castle nut is the Spindle Nut for Axles with 7/8" - 14 # 165931. Nothing is 3/4" so I would double check that measurement. The spindle washers we only carry with a 1" ID so they would have to be acquired elsewhere. What boat trailer are you working on?
