It appears you need a spindle nut. We have a couple of options for you to work with your 2,500 lbs axle:
The Trailer Spindle Nut 1", part, # 165686 and the Washer For 1", part # SW1000
Replacement Trailer Spindle Jam Nut, part # 6-191 and the Replacement Nut Retainer for 6-191 Jam Nut, part # 6-190
They each have 14 threads per inch and work with axles with 1" spindles. Each spindle nut needs either a washer or a nut retainer. If your spindle uses a cotter pin, you will need the first option.
