Easy fitment and excellent versatility. While they are more expensive than conventional chains they are far superior to normal chains.
I haven't used them yet but did put them on and it was easy. They look tough and I am glad I purchased them. I occasionally travel in the mountains and have them for the worst case scenario like I was in a few years ago with an AWD. I now have a two wheel drive I feel much more confident.

Worked fine going up a mountain a couple of miles to our cabin. Over an icy trail. Unfortunately the next day going down, after we got to the bottom, discovered they both had come off! And were lost somewhere back up the mountain. Of course we could not go back to find them because we had no chains!

Very well designed. Easy to mount. I have not had an opportunity to use them yet but I have set them up to fit my tire size and put them on. I am pleased with the quality so far.
This isnt directed towards etrailer, they have been nothing but amazing. overall these chains are really expensive for snow chains that will only be used a couple of times a year. The instruction manual is horrible, directions are very broad and not specific at all which was beyond frustrating. Thankfully I fitted and tested the chains at home before I went up to the snow, one chain fell off during the first test but then I put it back on and it stayed on. I haven't been to the snow with them yet, so wish me luck!
I appreciate the follow up to ask about my experience and to be honest I'm a little disappointed.
I only needed the chains for a short drive (about 2 miles at most) last year and they worked as advertised. That's great.
However- this year I needed them for a similarly short period - only a few miles - and one fell off whilst I was on the highway. I didn't notice at first but a passing motorist flagged me down.
I had to walk over a mile on a dangerous stretch of highway, in the snow and ice to retrieve it.
I had read reviews of others who had lost their chains whilst driving, chalking it up to user error, but now I know different!!
Very unique design. Do set them up and put them on before you really need them. The screws that adjust the size do take some time to remove. Unlike others, I had few to no issues getting them off. They fit snuggly on my tires. They were a little hard to get off after releasing the tension, but I guess that is good too. I will have to wait until I need them to put them to the ultimate test.

Havent used them because we didnt get snow.
I did need to adjust the "chains" for my tire size. It was easy to do with the supplied tools. They are indeed easy to put on and take off. The tension mechanism works great for keeping them on. The first time you put them on, you might wonder if you've done it correctly? Of course, you should practice once before you leave home. They are not "chains"; they don't rattle!
Bought the chains for a stay in Truckee. We never got hit with snow that required chains but I put them on as a test before the trip and they went on easily. Don't know how they work over an extended period but they seem good and etrailer.com was great in helping me get the chains adjusted properly as the directions could use a few more words to go with the pictures.
While I have not actually used them in the snow yet, my test installation in the garage went well.
This review relates to the product, not etrailer, as they have been a good retailer. The Konig self tensioning tire chains are a horrible product. They are poorly engineered. The instructions are average, but not detailed to the level of complication associated with the product. Installation is a two person job, and make sure you have that extra person around for a few days because they are very likely to fly off during driving. After coming off the fifth time, having been professionally installed, I pulled over and took the other off and left them for the next person to try. This is the worst winter traction device ever designed and built. I bought these due to wheel size given low profile tires and wide rims - I think I will just get some winter rims and tires and run those for four months with some simple and far less expensive (and more reliable) cable chains. I would avoid this product - etrailer has many better options for you.
Fits my Tesla Model Y perfectly and so easy to install compared to other chains! Best of all, it won't damage my rims

After following etrailers tire size calculator I ordered the K Summit chains for my Mercedes AMGGLC 43. I live full-time in a Mountain Community at 6000 feet and I’ve had many vehicles and experiences with tire chains and cables. I ordered these chains because of their supposed efficacy with high-performance vehicles with low profile tires, etc. Despite adequate practice pre-storm, by myself and both my sons who are in their 20’s, these over priced dangerous pieces of garbage failed on December 20, 2020 during a blizzard in our community while trying to get my sons to the airport. The right sided chain disappeared after less than 2 miles of driving and we were left stranded in a ditch on the wrong side of the road for days before our vehicle could be towed out due to the high demand in the area. I have been driving in snow conditions since I was a teenager, I am now 65. I have driven in worse conditions with 2 Wheel vehicles with regular chains and rarely failed to get home or around when I needed to. My Mercedes AMG has traction control, all wheel drive, slippery mode, and can be raised to avoid obstacles. Nonetheless, in this unusual freak blizzard, when I needed a chain product the most, these failed me and my family miserably. Their customer support consisted of a never ending chain of transfers from one person or department to another, and to this day I’ve never received a refund or gotten satisfaction. If I could’ve burned the remaining K summit chain I would’ve, but I had to settle for the pleasure of throwing the remaining one away in the expensive case it came in. Do yourself and anyone else you know who is shopping for chains a favor and warm them away from this failure prone overpriced piece of junk. RRT.

I have reached out to the manufacturer and determined that these chains would be a fit for the tire size. When installing the chains you will want to make sure that you are attaching the lug nut adapter that matches the wheel bot size. etrailer.coms custom fitguide will indicate whether your vehicle requires an adapter that is sold separately. And that you are using the cage, spacer and adapter correctly.
While I think this could be a fantastic set of chains, I believe the manufacturer could provide better instructions as to buying replacement parts. I tried installing these chains and one of the hex head bolts broke while tightening it up. I tried to find a replacement all over their website and also on etrailer but didn't find any. etrailer team was very kind to help me get in contact with the manufacturer to provide me with a replacement but they never responded back or appeared at all, and ended up just returning these because I could never use them but in the garage to test them one at a time using the same bolt for each set. I'm sure these could have been awesome in the snow plus they looked fantastic on my Kia Sorento 2022.

These are great chains, however, we do highly recommend following the instructions to a T. These require adapters for the lug nuts and a lot of adjusting in order to get them installed tightly. I have sent your information over to our customer service department for them to assist you.
