Match the chains to your exact tire size format, like 225/60R17 or 265/30R20. If your vehicle has limited clearance, look for Konig Class S compatible choices or the type that mounts to one lug nut and avoids a back-side chain. When fit seems tricky, a quick test install confirms you've got the right setup.
They can be straightforward once you practice. Do a test fit at home first; installing in 3-4 inches of snow makes positioning harder. Self-tensioning can speed things up, but check that the inside chain isn't caught in the tread—push it up and past that part to seat it. When removing, feel for the connector on the back side of the tire with patience.
First, make sure the inside chain isn't hung up in the tread and push it past that spot, then re-tension. When tightening any hex head bolts during setup, avoid overtightening to prevent damage. If a part breaks or goes missing, use the manufacturer's instructions to identify the correct replacement before your trip.
Choose Konig options that mount using one of the lug nuts and eliminate the need for a chain on the back side of the tires.
