Tire Chain Recommendation for Tire Size 255/45-20 On 2010 Audi Q5

Published 12/12/2020

Question:

Hi, I want to get some tire chains that will fit my 2010 Audi Q5 SUV and my tire size is 255/45R/20 - 101W. When I put in my car it gives me multiple options, but when I go into the details it says 235 tire size for certain chains. Can you recommend tire chains that will definitely work for my card and tire size? Thanks

The best option we have for tire chains that fit your tire size of 255/45-20 is the Thule Easy Fit Chains part # TH04115255.

These chains install in a matter of seconds without requiring you to get under the vehicle in the snow, provide excellent traction, and will last a long time.

I also attached a link to all of the chains that fit your tire size as well.

The most inexpensive chains we have are the Titan Square Link chains part # TC2229CAM which most likely wouldn't have clearance to fit your Audi but would do a great job with traction if they did. For inexpensive cables you'd wan the # TC2029 which are a great one-time or emergency use only set. Next up is the heavier duty Titan chain set part # TC2229SHD which is made from manganese nickel allow which lasts a very long time. Then we have the Konig set part # TH2004705255 which is a great option for a lower clearance, great traction, and reasonably easy install. Then we have the Easy Fit we talked about already # TH04115255, and then finally the K-Summit # TH02230K66 which requires the least amount of clearance and is very easy to install as well.
