Hi Tom, congrats on the new car!
I know you asked for three options, but I included four for you to check out. All of them would be great options and you will not need any other parts (like rubber tensioners) to go along with them.
Good: Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - Assisted Tensioning - 1 Pair # TC2323
Better: Konig Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - Self Tensioning - 1 Pair # TH2004705255
Best: Konig Easy Fit Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - Self Tensioning - 1 Pair # TH04115255
Ultra Best: Konig K-Summit Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - Assisted Tensioning - 1 Pair # TH02230K66
The Titan Chain is kind of a "standard" tire chain, but the square links and diamond pattern offers very good traction in slick conditions. They are the least expensive option (by quite a bit) and are very popular due to this. That and they work well.
The next three options are from Konig as they make some of the best tire chains on the market. The Better option is very similar to the Titan Chain, but the self tensioning it offers does make them easier to install and live with. These are probably the ones I would use as I like the self tensioning aspect and the 5 year warranty included with Konig chains is a nice thing to have (the Titan Chain has a 30 day warranty).
The Best option is the Easy Fit chains as they are the second easiest chains to install. You put them over the tire and then step on the tensioner to tighten them. We have a class here where we have people from around the company put tire chains on so we know what people have to go through out in the real world. I mention this as we have had people that have never installed tire chains get these fully installed on both sides in about two minutes. They are expensive, but they are extremely easy to live with and use.
The Ultra Best option, which I know sounds kinda silly, is the K-Summit chains. These are definitely the most expensive, but they are also the nicest. They do not have anything on the back of the tire and they will not touch your rims at all, which is why a lot of people go with them. They are a bit of a process to get installed the first time (I included an install video showing the process), but after that they aren't too difficult to use.
Have fun on your skiing trip and let me know if there is anything else I can help with!
Out of curiosity, where are you in Tahoe? I did a triathlon there is the early 2000s and it was very scenic!
