by:

Fit like a glove with no vibration. Couldn't be happier.

by:

The hitch was shipped and USPS lost the hitch in Memphis. After 28 days from the first item was shipped, I finally received my hitch after multiple calls to etrailer and USPS. The hitch is great, the shipping through USPS is not.

by:

This hitch is easy to Sam and is a rugged unit

by:

Looks great, easy installation

by:

Perfect fit. Very solid.

by:

I hate to admit that the hitch has not moved one inch from where it was installed. Of course that may be entirely because the trailer it's mounted on has not either... I have no doubt it will perform perfectly when called upon to tow the the small aluminum row boat that will be attached to it. Thanks for the follow up and we'll be sure to keep you all informed of future adventures. RTC, Micheal/China Syndrome survivor.

by:

Well made, excellent product.

by:

Bought it for a heavier hitch for my 2000 Polaris Ranger 6x6 and it worked excellent. Just one minor adjustment and it fit like a glove. etrailer is the way to go, will be buying more from them for my new to me 2009 Ford E350 ambulance that I will be using as a tow vehicle for my travel trailer.

by:

Works great, tow my utility trailer with polaris razor behind my travel trailer

by:

A quality bit of kit. My only problem is the burly box steel bumper on my 1990 LJ78 Land Cruiser is 2" X 4 1/8", apparently, not 2" X 4". So the nice bolts and nuts included in the package don't quite go through the holes at the top. I had to substitute thinner eye bolts. I'm pulling a very light canoe trailer with this, so I'm not worried about the loss in strength. If you have a real cross frame member for a bumper, as I do this is an inexpensive light towing solution. I would have rated it excellent if the bolt holes were somehow adjustable up and down.

by:

We had an interesting choice to make with our RV. We could either take the cargo carrier or the bikes. We wanted both, of course, and this hitch gave us that option.
We always check with etrailer.com first for any parts they might have to meet our travel needs.

by:

Very nice specialty receiver for 2" Reese Hitch. Fits on 4" x 2" bumper stock - dimensions are spot on. Finish on surface and edges is smooth...nothing to catch or "bite" during installation!

Thank you

by:

etrailer makes ordering parts very easy - always impressed with customer service I get.

The bumper hitch is sturdy, and fit my 2" x 4" trailer bumper perfectly. it is a well built product and is very stable on the bumper.

by:

Wrong product - and no help from etrailer.com in rectifying the situation! I don't think anyone could use this product, and it's not clear enough in the information that it's for a tiny bumper - not a regular RV bumper.

by:

Just received this product, so haven't really used it yet. But wow, it is really built well. I looked at numerous similar products, and am really happy with my choice. Should give us years of great service. May be overkill for a bike rack on the back of our Takena Trailer, but will most assuredly give us peace of mind on our long road trips.

by:

Very good quality but I had to send back as I ordered the wrong bumper size. They were very helpful with making the return easy. I was sent a shipping label.by text and sent it back. Just waiting for my refund. All items I have bought have been of good quality and not high priced. Very Happy.

by:

Very sturdy. We use it to hold a bike rack on our trailer.

by:

5 Star Service every time. I put my order in yesterday before noon and it was on my doorstep today before noon. I will recommend etrailer to everyone!!! Thanks Again!!!!

by:

Used for a rear hitch on my 5th wheel to tow the jet ski trailer. Very sturdy.

by:

The hitch came on time. Etrailer stayed in touch with me. I am sure it will work great for pulling my flat bottom boat. Have to wait for winter to get over with.

by:

Well made, easy installation, fast delivery.
Simple
instructions to follow no drilling required.

Great folks to do business with, can not go wrong using this company.

by:

The bumper hitch was what I was exactly looking for. Easy mount to the bumper.

by:

Arrived in a timely fashion. Even sturdier than I had expected. Fits my trailer bumper well. I am very satisfied with this product.

by:

Easy to install and well built. Bigger than I needed to mount our current bike rack to our Camp Lite 11FK, but works great and it was simple.

by:

video information was a big help, it eliminated guesswork on my application. fit & finish were excellent & my parts arrived on time.
I will buy from etrailer again.

  • Availability of a RV Hitch that Does Not Require Frame Drilling
All of the frame mount RV hitches we carry including the Curt Hitch part # 13703 that you referenced will require some drilling to install onto the RV. It really wouldn't be too difficult to install. I attached an install video for you to check out. If you have a bumper you might be able to use a bumper mount hitch on your RV that would not require any drilling or cutting. If you have a 4 inch square bumper you would want part # E-100, if you have a 2 inch square bumper you would want...

  • 2006 Jayco Feather Sport 17 ft Trailer Hitch Option
I looked up pictures of your 2006 Jayco Feather Sport 17 ft trailer and I couldn't find any pictures of a rear square bumper. The best option I can offer is the part # 13703 which can fit frame width of 22 to 72 inches that are I beam, C channel or boxed. You will need to go with an RV rated bike rack though like the ones available at the attached link.

  • Recommendation For RV Rated Bike Racks For 6 Bikes On 2016 Palomino Solaire 267bhse
For a bike rack on your 2016 Palomino Solaire 267BHSE, I recommend the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack # S80600. I recommend using tie-downs like # 05605 to secure your bikes in place and # e98891 cable lock to deter theft. There is not a 6 bike RV carrier available, so I recommend using a second rack and putting it in a separate location. Because you have an A-frame trailer, I recommend the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers...

  • Hitch Recommendations For A 2021 Keystone Sprinter 3530DEN 5th Wheel Trailer
Most bumpers on campers/RVs are not reinforced enough to handle any towing weight. The Curt RV Bumper Hitch - 2" Item # C19101 would definitely bolt on but that kind of weight would most likely rip your bumper off. I recommend using the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver - 18"-51" Wide - 2" Drop - Class III - 2" Item # C13701 as it has a 500lbs weight capacity. If the distance between your frame is larger than 51" then the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to...

  • Can Curt RV Bumper Hitch C19101 Carry Dirt Bike Carrier that Weighs 350 lbs
You'd be at the exact weight capacity of the Curt RV Bumper Hitch part # C19101 but based on what you mentioned yes the hitch would have the capacity needed. You would need to verify the bumper of your trailer is rated for the 350 lbs and that your carrier is rated for the rougher ride quality at the rear of travel trailers though.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 1962 Aloha Trailer with 3x1.5 C-Channel Bumper?
There isn't a bumper mount option for that 3 x 1.5 inch c-channel. Instead you will need to use a frame mounted hitch like the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver - 18"-51" Wide - 2" Drop - Class III - 2" # C13701. This is a bolt on option that will work with Box frame, C-Channel frame, or I-Beam frame.

  • Upgrading Bumper to Mount An E-Bike Hitch Rack on a Travel Trailer
As far as your torsion axles, they should provide you with more overall support than leaf spring alternatives. This is because each side of the axle moves independently without disturbing the other side of the trailer. To address the thinness of your bumper, we have not heard of any specific examples of neighbors replacing a thin bumper with a thicker bumper replacement. However, a bumper with a thicker wall does provide you with more strength against jarring and motion. As far as the...

  • Can a Trailer Hitch be Installed on a Dune Buggy
We have several different universal-type of hitches but none specifically for 1-1/2 inch steel tubing (which I assume is round tube). The best solution for you is going to be to have a receiver tube, # E-9, welded onto the tubing by a professional welder. It would probably take about 5 minutes to weld on and I am certain they would not charge much for this installation. Welding services can be found all over. Check your local Yellow Pages (if they still exist) for welders, machine shops,...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Bike Rack for Viking Trailer with C-Channel Bumper
For the 2x4 inch C channel bumper on your Viking Epic Trailer, the best option for installing a trailer hitch receiver to use with a bike rack is going to be a frame-mount option like the Curt Adjustable Width # 13703. This is because the C channel bumpers are simply not designed to support the weight of a bolt-on receiver like the Curt # C19101 along with the bike rack and loaded bikes. The Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch can be either bolted or welded to the trailer frame and will...

  • Frame Mount Trailer Hitch Option for 2016 Keystone Passport 199ML to Carry Bike Rack
I recommend going with an RV trailer hitch that will mount to the trailer frame, like the Hidden Hitch Multi-fit Moto Home Trailer Hitch # 88201. The 2 inch hitch receiver will work well to carry RV approved accessories. This hitch will fit trailers with frames from 47 inches - 71 inches wide. It is a good idea to measure your trailer's frame to ensure this hitch will fit. Another option is the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13703. This hitch is designed to fit trailers...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Trailer to Tow a Second Light Weight Trailer
We generally do not recommend towing a trailer with a trailer. It is illegal in many states, so you will want to check with the DMV in any state you travel through. Also you will want to check with the manufacturer of your fifth wheel to see if the bumper on your trailer is designed to support any additional weight due to its construction. Some fifth wheels are, and some aren't. That said, it sounds like you may have a 4 inch continuously welded steel RV bumper so you can use the Curt...

  • Options for Carrying 4 Bikes on a Tent Camper
There are several options for carrying 4 bikes on your tent trailer, however, determining the best option for you will depend on how your trailer is equipped. The best option would be to use a hitch mount bike rack that is approved for use on RVs and trailers. A bike rack like the Yakima LongHaul 4-Bike Rack, # Y02476, would be a good option. Whichever bike rack you choose you need to make sure it's rated to be used on the back of a trailer. There is more bounce and movement at the back...

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver to Fit on Travel Trailer Bumper for a Scooter Carrier
If your bumper measures 4 by 4 inches or 4-1/2 by 4-1/2 inches and is made of steel and not aluminum you can use the Swagman clamp on receiver, part # S64025. It sounds like your bumper is a continuous welded bumper, meaning it has all four sides boxed in and isn't open on either side. If your bumper is 4 by 2 inches then instead we have part # C19101. I also recommend trying to determine the weight capacity of the bumper with the trailer manufacturer if you can.

  • RV Compatible Platform Bike Racks
The Swagman Dispatch 2 Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches # S44FR is the platform bike rack I recommend that is compatible with RV and travel trailer use. It is a very nice bike rack that holds your bikes in 3 spots. It has the similar ratcheting hooks, but uses a different style wheel cradle. This rack has a fold down mast, but the rest of the frame is rigid to give the support needed for RV use. The Swagman Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack for 2" Hitches for RV Bumpers # S64663. is a bike...

This is not strong enough to allow using a bolt-on hitch like Curt # C19101 so your best option for carrying bikes on the trailer is to use the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-275. You could also choose to go with a bumper mount hitch. The Curt # E-100 fits a 4" x 4" bumper and the # C19101 fits a 2" x 4" bumper. You will also need to find the capacity of your RV/bumper...

  • Difference Between Curt RV Bumper Hitches 19101 and 19100
The difference between the two hitches is the size bumper they are designed to fit. Basically you'd need to measure the dimensions of your bumper to know which you would need. Most likely it's a 4 inch square bumper though as that is the most common size.
