Question:
The multi purpose hitch you suggested for someone else looking to add a hitch mounted bike rack to the rear bumper of their pop-up camper is ingenious...if you dont need much of a on the trailer hitch. My Myrtleinch rides pretty low, and my Subaru Ascents hitch is fairly high, resulting in needing about a 8-9inch . I found an adjustable hitch that works, but unless theres another version of the dual-purpose hitch with a much bigger , that leaves only my rear bumper on the Shasta for my bike. Its a steel Cinch bar 1.5inch wide at the top and 3inch high. I only need to carry one bike that weighs 30 lbs. Any solutions you can think of? Thanks so much!

The Curt RV Bumper Hitch - 2", # C19101 you referenced is designed for 4" x 2" RV bumpers. Without changing the current steel bumper, providing it and the mounts are solid enough, you may be able to source a a steel plate to use as a spacer and mount this item securely to your 1-1/2" by 3" bumper.
If you have the space on the A-frame of your trailer, I suggest the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers, # CC-275. Please note the attached product review video. The bike bunk clamps to the frame itself.
Another option is the Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers - 22-1/2" clearance, # LC429756. This bike rack installs on your A-frame trailer and lets you carry 2 bikes of almost any size or style by the wheels.
The last option to suggest is the Curt Clamp-On 3 Bike Rack for 2" Ball Mounts, # C18013. This is limited in space but if you are only carrying one bike it will be less concern.
Please review these options and let us know what follow-up questions you may have. I am certain we can find a solution for you.
