Question:
I have a 2016 Keystone Passport 199ML which does not have a rear bumper. Do you have a recommendation for something that I can possibly frame mount that would allow me to put on a bike carrier or possibly strong enough for a cargo carrier that would support a 125 pound generator. Thanks for your help

I recommend going with an RV trailer hitch that will mount to the trailer frame, like the Hidden Hitch Multi-fit Moto Home Trailer Hitch # 88201. The 2 inch hitch receiver will work well to carry RV approved accessories. This hitch will fit trailers with frames from 47 inches - 71 inches wide. It is a good idea to measure your trailer's frame to ensure this hitch will fit.
Another option is the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13703. This hitch is designed to fit trailers with frames between 22 inches - 72 inches wide, and can be either welded or bolted on. Keep in mind that Curt's warranty for the 13703 hitch requires that all RV-approved accessories that are non-trailer loads (such as bike racks and cargo carriers) need to be supported by a stabilizing strap # 18050. I have attached an installation video of this hitch on a trailer for you to see an example of the installation process. The installation instructions are also linked.
A great bike rack that is approved for use at the rear of a trailer is the Swagman Trailhead 4-Bike Rack # S63381. The dual arms with anti-sway cradles help provide a stabile, secure ride for your bikes and help prevent bike-to-bike contact. I have attached a review video of this bike rack for you.
Rather than carrying your generator at the back of the trailer, where there is going to be a lot of bounce and movement, I recommend using the Stromberg-Carlson Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-255. This will allow you to carry your generator at the front of your trailer where there is less movement.
Traditional hitch-mounted cargo carriers are not tested or rated for use behind a trailer, so it is hard to say what the performance of the carrier will be behind the trailer.
