Another Happy Customer! Order was placed late afternoon on Monday and arrived Tuesday. Unreal! The bumper hitch and bolts were better quality than expected for the price. I will buy from you guys from now on! Thank you!

by:

haven't used it yet, but it's weight tells the story. -- seems very heavy duty and capable of meeting our needs. service was great -- tracked delivery -- delivery on time. follow-through immediate.

by:

It will do the job I require. One suggestion; there is a set screw thatbisn't shown anywhere and I have no idea whether it should be toward thew vehicle or away fron the vehicle. There's no schematic or diagram indicating placement.
Otherwise it's nicley designed and finished and shipping was very prompt.
Thank you.

by:

Exactly what I was looking for to carry a bike rack. This unit is heavily built and I like the sturdy bolts and self locking nuts.

by:

As advertised. Sturdy hitch, solid bolts, and lock-tite nuts. Will use it with a bike carrier on a 1600 mile trip starting this week. Will update on my return. So far, it's well with the coin!

by:

Everything was as advertised. Quality product, easy to install, works great. I used this to attach a Thule hitch mount bike carrier to the bumper of my camper.

Shipping was nearly immediate

by:

Great product. Fit perfect. Easy to install. I really like the extra fastening bolt (my thule carrier has a fastening bolt - this hitch also has one on the opposite side which puts the perfect amount of pressure on the carrier)

by:

It looks to be sturdily made. the problem its the inside dimension of the receiver. It does not accept the tongue of the device I want to mount with it even though that device"s tongue does fit in other standard 2" receivers. I'll have to return it since I can't use it as intended.

by:

Used this hitch to attach a bike rack to our trailer. Easy install and worked great!

by:

Hold up well after 160 miles camping trip. Mounted at 4” rear bumper of my camping trailer to accomodate 2 bike rack. I only carry 1 bike for the trip. Solid and well secured using provision screw that you need to tightened once bike rack is mounted to avoid movement when driving.

by:

Very pleased with this product it's robust and solid, the bolts and lock nuts are high quality. Ordering and shipping were easy and fast. The part fit perfectly I used some gasket material to protect the bumper, would have liked to have the torque specs on the nuts. I use a Thule bicycle rack and this hitch allows me to bring along the bikes on my 5th wheel.

  • Will the # 64025 Swagman RV 2 inch Receiver Bumper Mount Adapter Mount Underneath the RV Bumper
One option we have for mounting a receiver under the bumper of your RV is the RV Bumper 2 inch Trailer Hitch Receiver, item # E-100. The only problem I see with the location you are suggesting is the distance from the bottom of the receiver to the road surface. If there is not enough clearance the clamp on hitch, bike rack shank or bikes themselves may make contact with the road and damage one or all of the components including the RV bumper. I spoke with my contact at Swagman and was...

  • What Is The Total Height of Swagman RV 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver Above RV Bumper?
The RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver - Clamp-On # S64025 It is right at 3 inches tall from the bottom of the top plate to the top of the receiver collar. It will fit and give you clearance so it will serve you well. The capacity of the hitch receiver will be limited by the bumper capacity or the 200 lb tongue weight capacity of the receiver.

  • Recommended Bumper Mount Receiver for Travel Trailer
As long as the bumper is not aluminum, and the seams on the bumper are continuously (not spot) welded, a bumper hitch like those you mentioned can be used. You will also need to ensure that the bumper is rated to handle the weight of the bikes plus the rack. Of the three, I would recommend the Curt # E-100 because of its higher capacity and tougher construction. You do not mention which bike rack you are planning on using. You will want to be sure to use a bike rack that is approved...

  • Recommended Travel Trailer Hitch Receiver and Cargo Carrier for Gas Generator
On your Dutchmen Coleman Lantern 17rd travel trailer, I recommend the Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100 which has a weight capacity of 350 lbs maximum tongue weight. Then for a 4,000 watt running generator like the Q-iPower # 289-AP5000 which weighs 117 lbs and has dimensions of 23-1/4" long x 17" wide x 18-1/2" tall, you will want a cargo carrier like the TorkLift Lock and Load # TLA7752. This will not only help carry the generator but also deter theft. If you want...

  • 500 lb Tongue Weight Capacity Hitch Recommendation for a Trailer
I believe I have a better solution, the Curt Hitch part # C13701 has a 500 lb capacity that will fit trailers that have frame members that are between 18 and 51 inches apart. Whether or not you could replace your current bumper with one rated for 500 lbs would be up to the manufacturer of your trailer, but I doubt they have a bumper available with that kind of rating so the hitch I recommended would be a better choice.

  • Recommendation for a Bike Rack on a Cougar 302 Trailer with Slide Out Storage Bumper
You will have to contact the manufacturer of your travel trailer to see if it is rated for weight carrying capacity. I would ask if it can carry a 3-4 bike rack either extended or retracted since there is likely less capacity when extended than when retracted. If the bumper is 4 to 4-1/2 inch continuous welded square steel construction and the manufacturer allows the addition of a bike rack to the bumper then you could use the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack, item # S80600...

  • Why Wont the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider Bike Racks Work On a 5th Wheel Trailer
The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider Bike Racks are indeed not rated for use on a fifth wheel trailer as is the case with many bike racks due to the decreased ride quality at the back of the trailer. Instead, you'll need to use the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Platform Rack part # HLY64FR which is built much stronger. In regards to a bumper hitch, most are either for a 4" x 4" or 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" as these are the standard sizes. That said, the RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver part # S64025...

  • RV Bumper Hitch Recommendation Where the Hitch Opening is Below Bumper
I have a solution for you, but the RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # S64025 that you referenced can only be used with the hitch opening on top of the bumper. Instead you would want the Ultra-Fab 2" Motor Home Trailer Hitch # UF35-946401. This hitch can be used with the opening on the bottom of the bumper. Be sure not to exceed the weight capacity of your bumper, check the owners manual of your vehicle for more info on that.

  • Bumper Mounted Hitch That Will Work With Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier
There is a hitch that will work for you, but the Bumper Hitch Receiver # S64025 that you referenced is for use with bike racks and would not be a fit for your new Roadmaster Spare Tire Mount RM-195225. Instead, I recommend the Ultra-Fab # UF35-946402 which is a 2" trailer hitch receiver that clamps onto 4" x 4" square bumpers and has a maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs, which should be well within the range of the Spare Tire Mount and spare tire. I've added links to a pair of video reviews...

  • Availability of RV Bumper Hitch that Can Fit 4-1/2 inch Square Bumper
Hey Caroline, the only hitch solution we have would be the Swagman part # S64025 that fits your bumper size. This isn't a u-bolt style as instead it uses 4 bolts with a mounting plate on the opposite side. It's similar but different I'd say...do you think this would work for you?

  • Capacity of Clamp-On RV Bumper 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver # S64025 with Anti-Rattle
The limiting factor is not the capacity of RV bumper hitch # S64025. The main issue is the capacity of the bumper. You will need to contact the RV manufacturer to find out the specifications for your bumper. • How to Attach a 1-1/4 Inch Hitch Bike Rack to a RV Bumper Hitch
I would recommend to use the Brophy Hitch Reducer, part # HT02. This reducer will insert into a 2 inch hitch receiver on your RV and allow you use your 1-1/4 inch hitch bike rack. It will extend out from the original hitch pin hole an extra 3 inches. Hopefully, an extra 3 inches would not cause you any problems.
