Driving with a roof rack can add noise, but these aerodynamic crossbars are shaped to help reduce it. The split rubber strips in the top channels fill the gaps that usually catch wind and cause whistling or vibration. The result is a smoother, quieter ride that feels refined even at highway speeds.
These bars are ready for whatever gear you haul. They’re compatible with most bike, watersport, snow, and cargo carriers—whether they mount in the top channels or clamp around the bars. That means you can use your existing carriers or easily add new ones for any season’s adventure.
Some racks make you cut and fit rubber strips when installing accessories. The WingBar Edge skips that step entirely. Its split-strip design lets you slide accessories right into the tracks without trimming. Once in place, the strips close back around the mount to help block out wind and weather.
For extra security, you can add Thule One-Key System locks (sold separately) to deter theft of both the rack and any channel-mount accessories. It’s a simple upgrade that keeps your gear safe when parked during road trips or overnight stays.
Each crossbar measures 37-1/2" long x 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall and supports up to 165 lbs (always observe your vehicle’s maximum roof load capacity). The aluminum construction combines strength with a silver finish that resists rust and looks sharp for years of use.

Fit perfectly on my 2020 Highlander and was an easy install.
This "fit kit" from THULE does not impress me much. It does not sit flush with the roof rails of my 2021 Toyota highlander, doesn't really line up with the openings on the flush mount rails, and only attaches to the vehicle via one bolt at each of the 4 mounting locations. In that sense it's inferior to even the OEM toyota roof rack mount.
Niiiiiice! Is what we say when we see the car now. The roof rack is well built. Instructions were easy- the letter specification to tighten the rack were a bit much. We had to adjust based on how things looked and jived with the car. Some soft cushion edging would not flush over the roof indentation edge, so we had to re-loosen and tighten the rack few times until all settled well. Bottom line, we wanted a solid rack that did not have overhang, did what it is suppose to, was low profile, and make the car look hot- check!!!! We are very happy! Best part about the entire experience however is etrailer. I swear, one might never need customer service or any help with their purchase, until they do. And what a customer service it is. Wow. It’s worth returning to etrailer for more business, purely because you want this business to do well and to remain in business and to show them how much we appreciate their excellent customer service.
Excellent service. I called etrailer and they were able to match the key for my old Thule box to the new key cylinders for this rack. They gave no guarantees, but they somehow made it happen quickly!
Just what I needed. Toyota was not to clear on exactly what type of roof I had. Toyata specified to Thule The Highlander will come with a few different roof types: Normal/Naked, Fixed Point, and Flush Rail.
Your vehicle technically is equipped with both a flush rail and a fixed point. However, it will be categorized under a flush rail fitment. Thanks to rhiannon p and photos going back and forth I finally received this kit, which was the proper kit.

One year in, this fit kit and the whole system have worked very well on my Kia EV6.
I miss the simplicity, in terms of cost as well as installation and removal, of the old Thule rectangular-bar racks, but this system looks better, is quiet, won't sag, and seems more robust.
One year in and it’s been great. Looks awesome, very functional, but I would recommend getting the windscreen as well. I didn’t want one, but if you have a sunroof and plan on using it, you’ll need the screen to avoid the noise. I haven’t maxed out the weight, but have put bikes, kayaks, and a roof box on with no issues. Would recommend 100%.
