These crossbars are built from durable aluminum, giving them the strength to handle up to 165 lbs of gear. Whether you’re hauling kayaks, a canoe, or a loaded cargo box, the sturdy construction keeps everything stable and safe on long trips. The 53" bars provide plenty of space for multiple accessories while keeping a balanced setup across your roof.
Long highway drives can get noisy when the wind hits your rack, but these aero-style crossbars are shaped to reduce that. The built-in split rubber strips sit in the top channels to break up airflow and minimize whistling and vibration. You’ll notice a quieter, smoother ride that doesn’t fight against the wind as much.
Some racks make you trim rubber strips before adding your gear, but this one skips that step. The top channels use split strips that open slightly when you slide in channel-mount accessories, then close back around them when you’re done. It’s a simple, clean way to mount your bike rack, kayak cradle, or cargo carrier without cutting or fussing with extra parts.
You don’t have to pick between accessory styles—the WingBar Evo crossbars work with both channel-mount and clamp-on gear. That means your favorite kayak holders, cargo boxes, ski carriers, or bike racks can all mount to the same setup. It’s one rack system that’s ready for whatever adventure you’ve got planned next.
If you want to lock things down, you can add Thule’s One-Key System (sold separately). It secures both the rack and any channel-mounted accessories with a single key setup, helping protect your gear when you’re parked at a trailhead or overnight at camp.

Not nearly as happy as I was! I love the rack style, and it works OK, but the rubber strips on top are a bad design. Once I had one of the strips fly off while driving, and the wind noise was horrible after that. Luckily, I made a note of where I was, and went back and found the strip on a freeway. This time I GLUED it in, because even though it was properly seated the first time, it came off. Then, the same thing happened on the rear rack! This time I caught it before it blew off. The front one had been driven over by a car or two, so I was going to replace it rather than reuse it - until I found the price of this simple piece of blow away rubber - it was outlandish I think it was $80 for a set - ridiculous at even half that price!. So I ended up gluing them in AND I put an eye bolt on both ends - since it seems to come loose at an end and work its way across. The idea is good, but the captive track is not adequate, and Id rather just take them off - but the wind noise is unbearable, so Im just going to make due.

Hi Michael, thanks for the review! For future reference, you might consider trying a wind fairing to help cut down on noise. These will not get rid of all sound, but they are designed to cut down on noise quite a bit. I hope this helps!

It’s been a year since I purchased and installed these. They’re still holding up and look great. I added a roof rack on top of it using the slots and t-bolts. Definitely worth every penny! You will not be disappointed! ????
