This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver is built for light-duty towing and everyday utility. With a 3,500-lb maximum gross trailer weight rating and 300-lb maximum tongue weight, it’s strong enough to handle small campers, utility trailers, or multi-bike carriers without a fuss. The 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening works with many ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers designed for Class II hitches.
You don’t need welding gear or a lift to get this hitch on your vehicle. The precision, robotic-welded design fits existing attachment points for a clean bolt-on install, and the complete hardware kit and instructions are included. That means you can take it from box to installed using basic hand tools in your own driveway.
The sturdy square-tube frame is fully welded steel coated with a gloss black powder finish over a protective base coat to fight rust and corrosion. It’s made to stay solid through years of towing, whether you’re hauling weekend gear or hitching up a small trailer.
The visible cross tube keeps things simple while tucking neatly below the bumper for a balanced appearance. Once it’s on, you get reliable towing strength without adding bulk or compromising your vehicle’s style.

The hitch is still used with satisfaction. Its only used for small jobs. I recommend it if youre worried about a do-it-yourselfer. Its easy.

The product is in excellent condition, and I carried my two bicycles with it using another attachment ed into it. The only issue I have is that my old shock absorbers in the rear of car failed and so every time I go over a speed bump too many here, due to many rowdy and uncontrolled drivers and so the rear edge that protects the muffler often scrape the ground as necessary. So, I will replace those shock absorbers soon.
