Question:

What would you recommend for a J carrier if I were to carry one kayak on each side of my 2018 Camry with sunroof?

I have a great option for you to carry multiple kayaks on your 2018 Toyota Camry. The method you have chosen of using j-style carriers will be best because it is easier to load them onto the roof from each side of the vehicle. For a j-style carrier, I really like the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier part # S512 because it has pretty much all of the same features (folding design, padding for protection, included tie-downs) as the top tier brands like Thule and Yakima but at only a fraction of the price.

For a roof rack to use with the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier, I recommend the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbar System part # TH711420, part # TH710501, and part # TH145082 because it contains the quietest crossbar on the market. It also has a very nice and tight grip on the roof which makes for a very sleek look and secure fit. The extra money you saved with the above can then be used to obtain a quality rack which is the most important part of the setup.

Can you look up the information that I was provided last year to be sure that it is still the best package for me? have a 2018 Toyota Camry WITH a sunroof. To carry 2 kayaks do I order one of each thing except for the Rhino J-style carrier, which I think I need to order 2?

Yep - I verified that the Thule system Conner recommended (# TH711420, # TH710501, and # TH145082) is still a perfect fit for your 2018 Toyota Camry with the sunroof. You just need to order one of each of these to have the entire roof rack setup. Then it's just a matter of ordering 2 of the Rhino-Rack J-Style Carrier # S512 (one system for each kayak) and you're ready to hit the water!
