Hey Gene! If you truly want a 12V/24V system you're going to be pretty limited. An AC like the # VE27QV or # VE36QV runs on 24V power with 9,000 Btu and is designed with something like a Class B van in mind. Your standard travel trailer is going to be 110V/115V and typically come as 13,500 or 15,000 Btu units. The only one that comes close to the 25k you're asking for right now is the Furrion Chill Cube.

The Chill Cube is the latest AC from Furrion and has an 18,000 Btu cooling capacity. This system is incredibly efficient, quiet, and cools faster than any other AC out there right now. Since it uses R32 refrigerant following the 2025 EPA regulations you will need the complete system for replacement. You can choose from the following based on ducted/ductless and color:

-Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ductless - 18,000 Btu - Black # FR27TD

-Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ductless - 18,000 Btu - White # FR59TD

-Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - Black # FR39TD

-Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - White # FR99TD

-Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Air Distribution Box, Thermostat - Ducted # FR69TD (if you also have a furnace)

-Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Air Distribution Box, Thermostat - Ducted # FR49TD (if you also have a furnace)

All of them include a remote which acts as the thermostat as well. The last two units include a wall thermostat capable of controlling a furnace if you have one.

What kind of travel trailer do you have?

I have 24v system. My 24 to 12 converter won't handle the amps so I think it will take an additional converter just for the air. I'd really prefer a 24v A/C. I was wanting a minimum of 15k btu. Isn't there anyone else who makes the unit I've described.

@Gene it looks like there are some 12k units out there that will fit the standard 14 x 14 opening. Try searching for 24V AC and you'll find them for camper vans and semi trucks. I don't think you're going to find anything that is 15k or higher on 24V. I imagine they don't make them, or even try to, since a 12V/24V system is used to cool smaller spaces and an AC like the Furrion above with the higher capacity is standard for a travel trailer that will have access to shore power or carry a generator when it isn't available.
