Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, I'm gonna take a look at the TST Tire Pressure Monitoring System with the color display and the 8 cap tire sensors. Now, this TPMS system is gonna let you monitor your vehicle's tire pressure and temperature via this included display. This does also work with your motorhome, your fifth wheeler or your trailer, and it will include everything laid out here on the table. We'll go through all the pieces.
Gonna zoom in here, start with the color display right here. You can see when you turn it on. You can see the nice color display that comes up. Comes with a cradle mount that if you wanna put this on your dash, you can just set that in there to hold it in place. Keeps it from sliding.
Comes also with an option of a suction cup mount that you can put on the back here and suction it to your dash or turn it the other way and suction it to your windshield. Also comes with the 12-volt power adapter and the micro USB cable for charging the monitor. Eight cap sensors for your valve stems. And it also comes with theft-resistant hardware with the wrenches to install it. And right here is a repeater.
Now, the screen, again, it is a nice color wide screen monitor, so it provides early warning detection with visual and audible alerts. This will help you detect blowouts, significant pressure changes, and tire temperatures that exceed 158 degrees. It does refresh automatically with new tire information every five minutes, and it offers presets that let you monitor up to four trailers or 115 tires with additional sensors. Those sensors we do sell separately on our website. A few measurements on this, the overall width from this side to this side, about 4-1/2 inches wide.
The height including the antenna up here is about 3 inches tall, and the depth is only about 1-inch deep. Now, we showed you the multiple mounts that they come with. It allows optimal monitor positioning, has the easy-to-use suction cut mount. This will let you stick the monitor to your windshield or your dashboard. And we mentioned the non-slip rubber cradle mount that'll let you put your monitor and set it on the dashboard. Now, the 8 cap sensors right here, these are designed to check your tire pressure and temperature every 12 seconds. They are a brass construction, so they are designed for use on either rubber or metal valve stems. And they are a very easy installation onto your tire's valve stem, and I want to demonstrate that I happen to have here is a rubber valve stem. So if you just remove your valve cap, you can see that they're threaded, and they're made to thread right on there. And then you just program in there, know, monitor your tire pressure and temperature. Now, they do also include theft-resistant hardware with these wrenches that'll keep somebody from removing the sensors. So in other words, when you go to install these, if you want to put the theft-resistant hardware, they have these lock nuts that you'll screw on first. And then when you screw your sensor on there, you'll tighten your lock nut up against the sensor. And then using this specially designed wrench, you'll be able to tighten it or remove it. So basically, once you tighten it up, it'll keep anybody from just coming by and removing them very simple 'cause they have to loosen that lock nut. But that's all included. Now, the pressure range, let me put the valve stone back. On the sensors themselves, the pressure range is from one PSI all the way up to 218 PSI. The battery life, they have a small battery in there, and it's a standard battery size, a CR2032 size. That battery life on these is about one to one and a half years. And if you ever have to go replace them, you can just unscrew this cap, put a new battery in there. They do give you some extra O-rings to put on there to help seal it when you replace the battery. Now, the micro USB cable right here and the adapter, this will let you charge your monitor with your vehicle's 12-volt accessory outlet. The battery life on this is about five to seven days on a full charge, and the recharge time is about four hours. The repeater right over here we mentioned, this repeater is designed to be installed to strengthen the sensor signal from your sensor to the monitor and helps eliminate any electronic interference. It does include a 57-inch long wire for connecting.
