Question:
I have a question about the Furrion Chill Cube AC unit. What is the difference between these two units FACR18VSSA-PS-AM 2024039637 FACR18VSSA-PS 2023010866 Apparently, my take on is that one is listed as a power saver and other is not- but what does that actually mean?

Hello Marvin,
Great question!
The difference is that the FACR18VSSA-PS-AM 2024039637 # LC54DX is the for aftermarket/retail customers and FACR18VSSA-PS (2023010866), is the OEM version. OEM's order part number 2023010866.
If you are looking to upgrade to the Furrion Chill 18,000 BTU, you won’t be disappointed. It’s quieter than other systems and more efficient, a win-win in my book! For a complete set-up, you’ll want to choose one of the following options:
- If you have a ducted system: Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Air Distribution Box & Thermostat - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - White # FR69TD
- If you have a ductless system: Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Air Distribution Box - Ductless - 18,000 Btu - White # FR59TD
Note: For ductless systems, Furrion has not yet released a wall thermostat. The included remote will work perfectly for controlling the AC, and you’ll be able to add the wall thermostat later once it becomes available.
What kind of camper is this going in? Have you been on any fun adventures yet this year?

Kate, can I ask you a question, even if I didn't get my AC unit from you? (I'm up in Canada so that wouldn't work). Ever do any pro-bono work?

Hi Kate; Thank you for looking into this for me! I wonder if Furrion is going through 'growth pains' and not able to keep up with what's going on. From this page; It shows that both part numbers are R32 and both part numbers are 18K units. And yet, they list one as a 'power saver'. Perhaps it's a misprint on their part?
