Question:

Good morning, i own a 2017 5th wheel keystone cougar mk333 with an 13.500 front and 15000 btu back AC. I would like to replace both A/C’s with the furrion chill cubes. I want to put a 15000 btu up front and the 18000 btu in the back. Is that possible to do? Thank you

Hey Dennis, you can definitely replace your current AC units with Chill Cubes but you should note that all of the Chill Cubes are rated at 18k btu. So if you have a roof ducts you'd want the part # FR49TD or if there aren't any ducts you'd instead need the part # FR59TD. What units did you have previous?

@ReJ The Cube will be a nice upgrade for them. But the Cube is only available in an 18k BTU rating. The Chill HE is in 15k if that's something you'd like but it's not nearly as quiet.

@JamesonC Great, really good news. My actual system right now is really noisy.!!! Could you please message me a complete list of the parts I need to complete the job? I did car mechanic tread school, so I am not scared to do it but my fear is to take everything apart and then realize I have more parts to order to get the job done… Just all the parts numbers so I could put it in my cart. I would put 18k on my bedroom… but my 50 amp service is not going to fail because of amp over use?

@Re If you have ducts all you need is the part # FR49TD or if it's ductless you'd need part # FR59TD. Both kits come with everything you'd need are super quiet. These have soft starts built in so that they don't have that really large amp draw upon firing up so your 50 amp service would easily be enough to power them.
