You'll need this air distribution box if you're upgrading your RV's AC to a 2025 ducted or ductless system with the new R32 refrigerant. New ACs will not work with any systems from 2024 or earlier.

The air distribution box also offers Advent Air's Flash Freeze technology. This technology consists of 3 slotted registers and 1 curved, louvered vent that provide maximum airflow whether your system is ductless or ducted. This enables the unit to cool the interior of your RV or camper more quickly than other air distribution boxes that might only have 2 registers or don't have a louvered vent. If you have a ducted system, you will have air coming out of the ducts, the registers, and the vent. Or for more evenly distributed airflow, you can divert more cool air through the ducts and use the sliding switches to close the registers.
This air distribution box includes a wall-mounted thermostat that lets you control the operating mode, fan settings, and temperature settings, and also turn the system on and off. Simply hit the MODE button to switch between 3 modes: cooling, furnace, and heat strip.
To operate the fan, press the FAN button. The thermostat offers auto, low, medium, and high fan speed settings that let you increase or decrease airflow as needed. In the auto setting, the fan will turn on and off with the compressor or furnace, and the speed of the fan will be determined by the temperature.
To set the temperature, press both arrow buttons. Then use the buttons individually to either lower or raise the temperature. The thermostat will display the temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. To switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius, or vice versa, press both arrow buttons for 3 seconds.
The thermostat has a blue LED display and large, user-friendly buttons that are easy to see. 15 Seconds after the last button is pressed, the blue light will turn off, which helps save power. The thermostat also has indicator lights that act as a confirmation as to whether the fan, the cooling setting, or the heat setting is currently being adjusted.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Advent Air air distribution box with wall-mounted thermostat. Now this air distribution box is going to work with your new 2025 or newer Advent Air air conditioner units to help cool down the interior of your RV or camper. And this unit is updated to work with the air conditioner systems that have been updated to meet the EPA standards for 2025, namely using the R-32 refrigerant. So this is not going to be backwards compatible with any accessories and parts from 2024 or earlier, just so you're aware of that.
This is going to be compatible with ducted and your ductless AC systems. And so this air distribution box does offer Advent Air's flash freeze technology. This technology consists of three slotted registers and then one curved louvered vent that's going to give you maximum airflow whether your system is ductless or ducted, this is going to able the unit to cool the interior of your RV or camper more quickly than other air distribution boxes that might only have two registers or don't have a louvered vent. Now if you have a ducted system, you will have air coming out of the ducts, the registers and the vent, or for more evenly distributed airflow, you can divert more cool air through the ducts and use the sliding switches here to close the registers like you see right there. So gonna be very easy to operate.
Now lemme see if I can try to give you a look here at the reverse side here, the side that's actually gonna be going inside the ceiling there. So you see, you do have your wiring harness here. And then I just kind of wanted to give you an idea of what this is going to look like when it's installed in your ceiling. So it's low profile and it's not gonna take up a whole lot of headroom in your RV or camper. So that curved low profile design is gonna give you that additional ceiling clearance.
And this also does feature a removable air filter. Let me line that back up there so you can continue to see. And so it's gonna be very easy to remove the air filters. You can see just like that, you'll just push in to release it, kinda like a ballpoint pen. So very easy, I think it's gonna be pretty easy to install, but even all the more easier to operate and get that cool air where you want it in your RV or camper, it's about 21 inches by 21 inches.
And then this also includes this wall mounted thermostat. Let me give you a closeup of that real quick so you have a better view of it. So obviously this thermostat is going to let you control your air conditioner, the mode, the fan speeds, the temperature settings and it's going to obviously mount on your wall. So this will be a pretty easy setup as well. Now I don't have it connected to power obviously, but I have some pictures here that I wanna show you just to kind of give you an idea of what this is gonna look like, not only mounted, but when it's also illuminated. This does have a blue LED display and an enlarged user friendly buttons that it's gonna be very easy to see and use. 15 seconds after the last button is pressed, that blue light will turn off, which is gonna help save power. And as you can see in the second photo there, the thermostat also has indicator lights. It's gonna act as confirmation as to whether the fan, the cooling setting or the heat setting is currently being adjusted. So a really nice easy display to view and see. And this is obviously gonna be a bolt-on installation. It's going to include everything that you see here, the hardware to get everything in place. But I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our brief time together has been helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
