Todo llego perfecto, y super rapido, la instalacion fue facil y rapida. Los agujeros de fabrica que no tenian rosca, utilice el tornillo viejo que estaba en el enganche de fabrica para roscar el metal. Para mi todo fue rapido y sencillo. Everything arrived perfectly and super fast. Installation was quick and easy. The factory holes that were not threaded, I used the old screw that was in the factory hook to thread the metal. For me everything was quick and easy. I bought this model because the other model that supports more weight is more complicated to install than this one.
The hitch receiver fit perfectly and the installation instructions were very clear. I bought the recommended tap, which made it easier to install over using a self-tapping screw. We used the hitch to hold our tandem bike rack on a 10,000-mile tour of the U.S. this winter.

The hitch bolted right up to the Transit frame. The directions say the bolts provided are self-tapping but it didn't look like that to me. Either way, I followed suggestions in the directions and pre-tapped the welded nuts with a M12-1.75 tap. Used dunnage to hold the hitch in place under the frame while I bolted it up. That's two vehicles now where I've had a great experience
After some weeks had passed, as I hadn't installed or used the hitch, I finally realized that the receiver portion of the hitch was not extended far enough for any raised stinger to miss the bumper. It would be nice to return the unit and get the correct fitting unit. I have not called to see if this is possible, as it was my fault for not installing and using the hitch promptly.
Fit for 2019 Ford Transit T250 was perfect. Had to remove recovery loop from right side (easy 2 bolts). As recommended in the instructions, I used a M12-1.75 tap in 4 places before using the self-tapping bolts. The whole installation was still less than 45 minutes working alone.

Flawless function and fit. Its been used for a bike rack carrier and trailer towing. Works exactly as it should. Doesnt interfere with anything, it isnt in the way. When not in use, I remove the trailer hitch ball mount it fits perfectly behind the passenger seat.
The hitch seems good and it lined up with the factory holes well but the self threading bolts that came with the hitch receiver were useless. After struggling for an hour I began to read the reviews and someone mentioned they used the factory bolt from the rear pulling point that has to be removed to install the hitch and those bolts cut the threads easy. Once I figured that out it went easy.
Very easy to install. 6 bolts, right size sockets, a torque wrench and you are done. Takes less than 30 minutes. Would recommend using a jack to align and hold the hitch below the mount holes if installing by yourself.
This hitch is very well made, easy to install but potentially one major problem depending on what you want to use it for. The face of the receiver is recessed about two inches from the face of the bumper. For most trailers this is no problem but if you will be using hitch mounted accessories such as a bike rack with a swing away arm, it may not fit as the accessory will hit the bumper before it is completely inserted into the hitch. Be aware! Photos are of a factory Ford hitch (proud of bumper about 1/4" and the etrailer hitch recessed significantly).

When the hitch is recessed under the bumper you will want to measure the distance needed to clear the bumper. We do have a FAQ article about how to measure for a cargo carrier however it can apply to any hitch accessory.

Good quality hitch, fast shipping, but the self-tapping bolts were a bit of a pain to put on.
Package was delivered as promised. All parts were included with simple to follow instructions. Was a 2 person job and took less than 45 minutes. Fit perfectly. No issues. Fit and finish is great and looks great under the bumper.

Fit my 2017 Coachman Freelander micro on a Trasit cutaway had to drill 4 holes and use 4 different hardware (bolts&nuts). This is the only one I found anywhere that would work. There is no application that will fit a Transit cutaway that I could find.
Easy install for a novice. All I needed was to borrow a torque wrench from my brother. Helpful tips in instruction sheet and on website question section answered by experts. I chatted with support prior to purchase to ask some questions and get recommendations. It fit great. Thanks etrailer for an affordable hitch receiver.

Well, I think this was the hitch I put on a 2023 Ford Transit Van that I’m converting to a camper. I say this because I’ve used etrailer to supply at least 5 hitches. One if those was for a buddy that I ride bikes with…got to have a trailer hitch to carry bikes…etc. I have found etrailer always has a hitch to fit my vehicles and usually, they have a choice of 3 or 4 hitches. And, I’m tight, so I can guarantee you etrailer has a price I can feel good about. Give them a try, you’ll like them.

Arrived quickly, packaged well, looked great and fit perfectly. I needed to tap the bolt holes on my van and struggled with one but this isn't a problem with the hitch.

A year later it has worked like a champ without any problems. Ive used it to tow a boat through rough roads and there have been no issues.
Everything worked great during the installation. Instructions were accurate. Videos very helpful.
This company is the best to deal with. We made an error in ordering a hitch and they promptly sent us a new one with the info to ship back the first.
I got 6 bolts with the hitch and only 2 nuts. Other than that the install was easy and it fit my Transit Coachman Freelander Micro Motorhome..

Really very easy to install, especially with the video. I love this company and I use them again and again.
I bought this hitch for a 2017 Ford Transit 350 Forrest River RV even though it was not recommended by e-trailer. The other options were several hundred dollars more so I thought I would give it a try. There were two issues that I had to overcome. First, the receiver was not low enough to clear the bumper. I dry fitted it the best I could and marked out a small area of the fiberglass bumper that needed to be cut out (about 2.5 x 0.75 in). It then fit perfectly. Second, the pre drilled holes did not line up and I had to drill 4 holes in the frame. All told, it took about an hour with my wife’s help (she started the nuts on the bolts while I held the hitch in place. To me, it was well worth it to save the extra dollars. Also, the hitch arrived several days earlier than promised.
Very well made in the USA. Weld look great. Shipping was fast and glad they used UPS as well. The one bolt right above the exhaust pipe was a little bit of a PIA to get the torque wrench on but not etrailers fault. Very impressed I just finished installing it. Can’t wait to hook something up and tow now.
