I have a 2020 ford transit 350 crew van. It has no trailer hitch. I would like to install a hitch 7 blade plug and brake controller. It has a tow haul mode but no hitch. Do you have a complete kit to do all this? Will the plug be already there somewhere on van or will I have to hard wire everything? Thanks

Hey Kevin! Starting with a hitch I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e98842. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and a bolt-on installation.
Based on the information you have given me I'm assuming you don't have factory wiring so you you will need the # 22114 (single rear wheel) or # 22116 (dual rear wheel) to add a 7-way. The correct wiring kit depends on if you have a dual rear wheel setup or not.
Double check the rear bumper of your van and see if you have a dummy plug. If you have the plug pull it out and see if there is a wiring harness attached. If you have this you can add a 7-way using the Curt Dual Connection Socket w/ Bracket # C36GJ. The connector will look like the one in the attached picture.
For a brake controller, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR. The Liberty is simple, reliable, and won't take up space in the cab. The main unit mounts behind the dash so only the control knob is visible. If you're using the Tekonsha wiring harness to add a 7-way you can plug it into that wiring using the # 331-TPH-017. You can also splice in with the universal wiring harness # RED69FR.

I will be towing a small utility trailer on occasion with generator and maybe few ladders on it. Occasionally small amounts of wood on a trailer. Never anything over 5k max I would say. Can’t find any type of dummy plug under the bumper anywhere. Only a small loop toe hook.
