So far so good after install on a 2018 Subaru Impreza (5door). Only use has been for the 1Up bike rack. No issues, installation was a piece of cake.
Perfect hitch for our 2018 Subaru Impreza sport. Not only was it easy to install, but it looks good, the price was on point, shipping took 2 days to arrive, and its literally the perfect hitch to haul a bike rack with. Works great for my bike rack and my cargo holder. I get comments on it and highly recommend it to others. Whenever I get a new car that doesn’t have a hitch. It will be the first thing I buy.

I was very happy with my order and transaction with etrailer.com. I got exactly what i was looking for at a good price, but what I loved most was their fabulous customer service, particularly during this time dealing with businesses limited by the Coronavirus. I had a concern as to whether my order went through, but I received a very quick response, by phone, reassuring me it did. I received my item (a hitch for a bike rack for my Subaru Impreza) in just a couple of days and had my mechanic mount it today. Looks great! Very inconspicuous!
Great hitch. Install wasn't so bad. Still holding up like a stock hitch 1 year later.
This hitch fit perfectly on my vehicle. All the parts necessary to install it were included with simple directions. The websites was easy to navigate and shipping updates were frequent and accurate.

Works like a Champ!
product looks good, delivery not so much, no protective packaging provided inside box, in turn, it punctured two holes in the box and product got scuffed up. also the hardware was attached in a sloppy way which makes it difficult to get it off and start the job. a little attention to detail goes along way guys.

Bought on a Sunday, got word it'd SHIPPED on that same Sunday! Parcel arrived in fine fashion three days later, intact and undamaged... though the substantial double-walled cardboard box had taken some abuse in transit. No surprise that, these things are heavy and have hard corners. Supplied fasteners are nice shiny new GRADE 8 carriage bolts & flanged, toothed nuts for securing hitch to vehicle frame. Looking forward to getting on to actual installation details nicely outlined in the 'how-to' video on etrailer's website later today. This is my second hitch bought from etrailer, maybe my last ('cause I don't expect to be trading vehicles again anytime soon) but I recommend them highly for customer support, service and installation tips.

The product has been awesome in terms of use. The instructions were a little misleading however when installing. They make it seem like it should be super easy to file holes in your cars frame to secure the hitch itself. However it’s not that simple, we tried multiple different tools and methods to file down our frame and it took much longer than we expected. Product itself has been wonderful. My boyfriend and I installed it on our 2017 Subaru Impreza and traveled from Washington, down the coast, across to the east end of Texas, up to Montana and back around. We spent several months on this trip hauling our homemade travel trailer and our car had no problems safely towing our project.
Hitch arrived today as promised. There was a hole in the package but we inspected the merchandise and am 99½% sure there was no damage. That metal is pretty sturdy and there doesn't appear to be any problem. Looking forward to getting it installed on the car so we can start camping when the weather warms up.

We have sold the car that the hitch was installed on. Might have to purchase a new one for the new car we bought.
Straight forward, wish I didn't need to file 2 holes larger in the frame to fit the bolts but other than that, exactly what I expected, awkward to bolt up but not difficult at the end of the day
I've had this installed for a year now and it's been great! I installed it myself in under an hour by myself. If you can get a second set of hands to help you that would be better! Instructions were very detailed and the fit is perfect. I use my hitch for a bike rack and couldn't be happier.

I am a reasonably handy person and decided to tackle this myself. Just needed a jack, jack stands and a step bit for my drill. I didn't get hurt and my car didn't fall apart. I do recommend having someone else help you get the hitch up to the bolts... however it is possible to do by yourself with a little ingenuity.
I also think it is important to get a hitch stabilizer so your stuff isn't just bouncing around back there.
Works great. Would do again.

absolutely no issues. I did have a shop install it so cant comment on the installation, but i forget its on my car unless actually using it for the bike rack, which i consider to be a good thing.
