Hello, Can you tell me if there is a difference in the clearance how low the hitch hangs on the class 1 vs. the class 2? Same question for the Curt. Which hangs down the least? I have a 2018 subaru impreza 5-door and its already low to the ground. Thanks

The Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11465, the Draw-Tite Class I Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT24959, and Draw-Tite Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver # 36644 are all within roughly a 1/4inch of ground clearance when installed on your 2018 Subaru Impreza.

Due to that I recommend the Draw-Tite Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver # 36644 which is a stronger trailer hitch receiver capable of a maximum tongue weight of 350lbs, and a maximum trailer weight of 3500lbs. The Draw-Tite Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver # 36644 will allow you to use Class I and Class II accessories which will give you more options when looking for accessories.
