Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this CURT two inch Rubber Tube Cover. Now, as you probably know, a hitch cover adds a clean, finished look to your hitch, and they also keep dirt and grime out of your receiver tube. And that's going to help keep your receiver tube safe from rust and corrosion, so that the next time you're ready to use a ball mount or a hitch mounted accessory, you're not grinding against rust and corrosion that has potentially built up inside of the receiver tube of your trailer hitch. So this is really gonna prevent that from taking place.
This is made of a durable rubber construction. And it features a weather resistant design, which keeps it safe from the elements. It doesn't require a hitch pin or a hitch lock to hold it into place. It's simply going to fit right into the receiver tube opening, and the tight fit is going to keep it in place, and it's gonna keep it from accidentally slipping out. Now, as I mentioned, this is designed to fit your two inch trailer hitch receiver.
The face of the unit is a square design. And just to give you the measurement of the face, as you can see, we are sitting right at three and one eighth inches. By the same measurement, three and one eighth inches. And installation is gonna be very easy. You'll notice that along the sides, we have these raised ridges, and that's gonna go into the hitch.

Seems silly to review this thing, but it fits perfectly in the hitch receiver and makes the hitch look a little classier, so worth the minor cost. And maybe it keeps mud, slush and rain out, so reduces rust over the years. The Curt hitch itself is excellent, by the way. I had it professionally installed along with trailer wiring and am very happy.
Works Great!…I took it upon myself to wrapped the tail-end exposed light kit wires with black electrical tape right-after installing to protect them from any water damage later, the light wires also came with a rubber end cap to cover plug-in …
it’s been a year and they work perfectly.
I also like the Hitch Rubber End Cap , it’s covers the ugly hitch opening.
Does what it needs to do, nothing fancy. Stays in the hitch receiver without any issue.
I purchased the CURT trailer hitch for my 2021 Lincoln Corsair about one year ago. I only use to tow around the tow dolly at RV parks. The one issue I have is it appeared the left (Driver's) side mounting holes (front hole) needs to be oblong 1/4" more towards the front, so the mount bolt could fall in straight down, instead of being cocked facing backwards. Installation was easy for a one person, lying on the floor using a floor jack and basic hand tools, and instructions were easy to follow.

Experience was easy and pleasant I would have given 5 stars but the wrapping on the hitch was thin and there were scratches on the receiver end
It a cosmetic rubber plug.....but it just works. Fits tight and looks good.
Install went exactly as shown in the video. Loosened the bolts with a breaker bar then spun them out with a impact raised the hitch into position hand started the bolts spun them back in with the impact and torqued them to spec. Now ready to tow my boat. Excellent install.

Material seems very durable and is very snug when pushed into trailer hitch.
It's been a year since I purchased this cover and it still looks and works great! I'm very pleased with how it gives the hitch a cleaner look when not in use.
Super easy to install. It took 20 minutes. My only issue was finding a 1/2in hex bit socket to shoot the large top bolt. It's not a common size. Once that obstacle was overcome, installation was a snap.
My bike rack and trailer are secure and safe on the hitch. I'm happy with my purchase.
