Lifting your truck camper on and off of your pickup truck is challenging if you don't have the right equipment. This cable jack helps you load and unload your camper with ease. No permanent installation is required, so you won't have unsightly and expensive electric jacks hanging off of your camper. And because these jacks break down into 3 portable, easy-to-assemble pieces, you can take them everywhere the road takes you.

Ideal for Tall Pickup Trucks

Got a super tall or lifted pickup? No problem. The uppermost pole on this jack is elongated so you can lift your camper up to 67" off the ground, which should be more than enough to clear the bed rails of even the loftiest truck on the road.

Simple Operation

Using this jack is simple. Place jack on the side of your camper and position the L-shaped lift bracket underneath the body of the camper. Then crank the hand winch to lift or lower the camper evenly until the proper height for loading or unloading is achieved.

I've been trying to find a way to remove my topper from my truck with one or two people. All YouTube shows is people in really tall garages setting up pulley systems to lift them off. I was glad to find these jacks. Now I can lift the topper, drive the truck away and lower the topper to a wagon and move the topper away to storage. This can all be done with one person, if necessary. This process should be easy to reverse, to put my topper back on the truck.

Great Jack's that easily handle sled decks and toppers. Only complaint is you need to drill a hole and put a pin in base to keep it from falling off while moving around. I would buy these again.

Review from a similar Cable Camper Jacks in Camper Jacks

So I have owned my CJ7 4 Brophy camper Jacks for a year. Throughout this time, they have been outside exposed to the elements continuously, and they look and operate as if they were straight out of the box. I've been using the camper jacks to renovate my camper, and I couldn't have done this project without them. I am so happy I bought the camper Jacks it was the smartest purchase I've made in a long time, and etrailer.com was the best place to purchase them.

We bought the jacks to remove our camper shell. The “L” shaped supports for lifting the camper shell were a little small for a camper shell so we had the kid across the street weld on a piece of steel to extend it in order to lift the camper shell. Works great and we’re happy with the jacks. Eric.

Review from a similar Cable Camper Jacks in Camper Jacks

I used these to lift a truck camper onto my 2018 Ram 2500. I initially tried using only one pair and found it to be extremely scary as the camper wobbled back and forth. I purchased another pair so I could have a jack at all four points. It's better, but still very scary to lift the camper with these. The camper will rock and swing as you jack it up from the torque of the jacking action. If I could go back in time, I would have chosen to build electric jacks (at a higher cost) directly onto my camper instead of using these. They get the job done, but it doesn't feel safe.

Review from a similar Cable Camper Jacks in Camper Jacks

I bought these jacks to lift and store a pick up cap (some call them toppers) in my yard. Combined with 2 saw horses and a few 2 x 4s these jacks worked great. Since they were used outdoors in a New England winter I covered them with large plastic garbage bags and then 5 gallon buckets over the bags to keep them from blowing away. The jacks fared very well and the only rust that appeared were on the feet where I'd expect it. I would recommend these jacks for those looking to utilize them in similar applications. They are well made and sturdy.

The jacks I ordered are excellent in quality, however the packaging for delivery was remarkably poor in protecting your product. Of the two boxes, the box with the stanchions had broken through and exposed the pulley wheel through the ends. I suggest a larger/longer box with styrofoam end-pieces. You have a good product, why ship it so haphazardly?

Etrsiker is a good and very reliable company. Some times they don’t have your part in but they ship it out as soon as they get it. Thank you for being there for all of us. If you need a part Etrailer is to go.

Review from a similar Cable Camper Jacks in Camper Jacks

Packaging was very poorly done and the powder coating on the bases and winches was pretty dinged up straight out of the box. For the price I was hoping to get something in pristine condition. I looked passed that and tried to put my camper shell back on my Tacoma. This easily lifted the shell and although it was pretty wobbly it didn’t feel super dangerous. As I’m backing up Its obvious my Tacoma was too wide to fit between the base and the poles so I backed it about half way under the shell and had to pull the shell up to the cab the rest of the way by hand. The bracket that goes under the shell beat up the fiberglass on the camper a little too. Still better than trying to lift it with a friend but not what I was hoping for. Would not recommend this to a friend.

Review from a similar Cable Camper Jacks in Camper Jacks

The product: excellent, well built, easy to use. The packaging: to put it bluntly, sucks. The box with the tripod feet and pulley assemblies arrived nearly destroyed, held together with a few strands of cardboard. Luckily, the product pieces themselves are nearly indestructible, and are large, so nothing fell out. I like your product selection, prices, and fast shipping, but I doubt I will ever order a large heavy item from you again. Don't want to press my luck.

Review from a similar Cable Camper Jacks in Camper Jacks

I sold and maintained R.V.'s for many years and had experience with the Brophy Jacks so I knew exactly what I was looking for when I ordered these. These jacks are easy and safe to use if instructions are followed. I have a small camper that had hydraulic jacks. These were always in the way when using my vehicle in the bush and in tight spots. Now I use the Brophy Jacks to load/unload my camper and then to load/unload the truck canopy. When working, we made a "Bed Rail" dolly. We could load a camper onto this dolly and move it anywhere on the lot that we wanted as the jacks will go close to the ground. A well made and useful product. I have a jacked up Tundra so the extra length is helpful. Thank you.

I ordered these jacks in a pinch and they shipped the same day. They are well made and easy to operate. I use them to manage my FWC install/uninstall and they work like a charm. It can be a little nerve racking to have it suspended in the air while I move the truck in and out but they have always remained stable and bear the weight confidently.

The jacks came much sooner than we expected based on a phone call prior to ordering. The one complaint we have is like many others. The box was destroyed when we got it and the bottom piece was sticking out. Of note, these are some heavy pieces so plan on that if you are traveling with them.

Review from a similar Cable Camper Jacks in Camper Jacks

I have used the jacks several times now & they work as they should they are built sturdy , the cables are sturdy, & the crank works smooth. They have plenty of height for getting the camper up high. The shipping packaging could have been better, I had to bend one of the corners back in place that got bent in shipping. it only had a piece of cardboard around the end wrapped with shipping plastic. Once bent back in place the jacks have worked great.

Still work great after one year. I tried just 2 jacks and they worked with my light camper but I was worried about stability so I bought 2 more. Easy to use. I added slots in the support bars that fit over the camper tie down rings. No way for them to slip now. I still like the fact that the jacks are not attached to the camper when traveling. Much cleaner look and no need to haul the extra weight.

Review from a similar Cable Camper Jacks in Camper Jacks

It’s a quality product, that did exactly what I needed it to do. Reason for 4 stars is because the packaging was poor. The poles were fine, but there wasn’t any padding/packing; which resulted in the card board box being full of holes, and several areas that are painted black, to be rubber/scraped off.

During the 4th use, one of the lift mechanisms broke and almost broke my wrist. Don’t have it anymore!

Review from a similar Cable Camper Jacks in Camper Jacks

I just got the product yesterday and it has worked great. Really easy to assemble, which came in handy because the instructions had been torn up in transit. Trailer was really stable lifting it up and putting it back down. The bolts with locking nuts were loose in the packaging and somewhere along the lines one of the locking nuts got lost, but it’s a standard size and was easy to replace for a few cents at the local hardware store. Overall I’ve been very satisfied and have recommended these to a few friends that have been looking for something like this.

  • Can Brophy Camper Jacks be Used with Dually Truck
Camper jacks like the Brophy part # CJ74H can be used on dually trucks but it comes down to the width of the camper relative to the width of the dually fenders of the truck. If the camper is the same width as the top of your bed rails there won't be a way to use a camper jack like this as they'd interfere, but if the width of the camper is same as dually fenders it would work well.
