Features to know about

Effortless Camper Lifting: Elongated Upper Poles for Tall Trucks

Do you have a super tall or lifted pickup and worry about clearing bed rails? The Brophy Cable Camper Jacks feature elongated uppermost poles that can lift your camper up to an incredible 67 inches off the ground. This provides more than enough clearance for even the tallest trucks, ensuring hassle-free camper loading and unloading.

Compact and Portable Solution: Three-Piece Breakdown for Easy Storage

These jacks are designed with a portable mindset; each can be disassembled into three pieces. This feature makes them simple to store and transport, so you can carry them wherever your camping adventures take you. There's no need for a permanent, bulky setup that’s often an eyesore. Just pack them up and go!

Smooth Operation Every Time: Hand Winches and Safety Latches

Operating these jacks is a breeze with the hand winches that make lifting and lowering your camper smooth and controlled. Additionally, the built-in safety latches prevent the cables from free-spooling, ensuring your camper remains safely elevated throughout the process.

Stability on Any Ground: Sturdy Tripod Bases

Ever worry about your camper wobbling around? The CJ74 provides sturdy tripod bases that evenly distribute the weight of your camper, which helps eliminate unwanted front-to-back and side-to-side motion. With large, stable footplates, you won't have to worry about sinking into soft ground or tilting at awkward angles.

Built to Last: Aircraft-Grade Cables and Corrosion-Resistant Construction

These jacks won’t let you down when it comes to durability. Equipped with aircraft-grade cables, they're both strong and reliable over the long haul. Plus, the corrosion-resistant construction and black powder coating on tripod bases and lift brackets, along with galvanized upright poles, mean they stand up to the test of time and the elements.

Versatility for Various Camper Needs: Adjustable Lift Range

Whether you're working with a standard capbed or a lifted truck camper, this pair of cable jacks accommodates with a lift range of 17 to 67 inches. Plus, with a weight capacity reaching up to 3,000 pounds, these jacks can handle nearly any truck camper you throw at them, keeping your setup as flexible as it is capable.

  • How To Determine If The Brophy Cable Camper Jacks Will Work For Me
Hello Brian, thanks for reaching out. With the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks # CJ74, the L-bracket sits about 3" out from the edge of the jack tube. So it doesn't give you a whole lot of extra clearance. It will only work on setups where you have 3" (or less) from the outer edge of the wheel well to the lifting point. If your fender is sticking out 5-3/4" there would really be to way to use this jack system with your truck and topper. The brackets simply do not stick out far enough.

  • How Much Fender Clearance Does The Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks Offer
We don't currently have any customer submitted photos for the Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks # CX74, but we do for the lower capacity # CJ74, which uses the same lift brackets. From the edge of the tube to the lift bracket is approximately 3" so you don't have a lot of extra clearance. If the body sits past the fenders or just less that 3" before the fenders then you should be good to go.

  • Are The Brophy Cable Camper Jacks Stable
You should not have a problem with the camper sliding out when you are using any of the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks. The jack is very stable because of the tripod base. That stability will make the jack very difficult to tip to the front or the back. You will need to use two jacks, one per side. You will just need to make sure your camper jacks maximum weight capacity exceeds the weight of your camper. I have included a the different model Brophy Cable Camping jacks and their weight limits...

  • Will the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks Work On A Camper That Does Not Extend Past Bed Sides
The Brophy Cable Camper Jacks part # CJ74 can be used for storage but if the side of the camper do not extend to or past the sides of the truck bed it would not be feasible for them to be used for loading/unloading. That said, you could somehow fabricate some extensions on the camper and or jacks but that's the only option I see.

  • Will The Brophy Cable Camper Jacks Work With A Dually Truck?
The Brophy Cable Camper Jacks - 67" Max Lift Height - 3,000 lbs - Qty 2 # CJ74 don't really stick out . They hold the camper pretty much flush with the edge of the camper. I went into our warehouse to measure for you and the 2x2 inch l bracket that holds the edge of your camper is 4-1/4 inches from the support pole. The outermost edge of that bracket is 6-1/2 inches from the pole. The issue you may face is that the tripod foot support is directly in line with that l bracket. It doesn't...

  • Recommended Electric Truck Camper Jacks for a 2007 Lance 815
We do have an electric option available that may work for you. The HappiJac Electric Truck Camper Jack System # LC736514-ELKIT will have a higher capacity of 8,800 pounds, but does only have 34-1/2 inches of lift. This will also include the mounting brackets which are designed to fit most campers on the market, but will also be a permanent installation. If this amount of lift and style of install will work for your needs, I will say this is a very good upgrade.

  • Recommended Replacement Jacks For Lance 815 Truck Camper
I recommend looking at the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks Item # CJ74. These are universal jacks that are sold in pairs. They have a combined maximum weight capacity of 3,000 lbs and a lifting range from 17 inches to 67 inches. The Brophy jacks have an overall height when assembled of 76 inches and are operated by a hand winch. I have attached a link to additional information.

  • Replacement Jacks For A Lance 815 Truck Bed Camper
I do have options available for you however, we only offer universal jacks sold in pairs not single replacement jacks for your Lance 815 truck bed camper. If the universal jacks are something you would like to consider, I recommend using the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks part # CJ74. The Brophy jack have a maximum weight capacity of 3,000 lbs. and can lift the camper from 17"-67". They stand 76" tall and are a non-permanent removable option.

  • Troubleshooting Rear Wheel Clearance Issue with Brophy Cable Camper Jacks
You should be able to change the orientation of the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks # CJ74 so that the legs pointing towards the cab of your pickup and the other legs will sit under your pickup bed a little to help stabilize your camper. I have attached a picture to show what I am talking about. If you have the legs that point towards your tailgate clearing the tires then odds are you need to swap what sides they are on. If you did already try this let me know and I can help you further.

However, since we don't have any replacement gears that'll work with your current jack then you may be interested in a new jack system. • Manual Jacks to Lift a 2008 Bronco Polarino Truck Bed Camper
Brophy Cable Camper Jacks - 67" Max Lift Height - 3,000 lbs - Qty 2 Item # CJ74 will work great with your 1,600 pound truck bed camper. Just make sure that the 67 inch maximum lift height is enough to get the camper into the truck bed. The brackets that lift the camper are 21-1/2 inches long so when properly placed at the center of gravity on the camper it will be balanced. It is recommended to have 2 people when operating the jacks so they lift evenly. For tie downs we have custom options...

  • Homemade Slide In Camper Lift Recommendations
For your horizontal clearance this will really come down to your specific truck as well. The Brophy Cable Camper Jacks have an offset lifting point that is designed to even with the legs of the jacks themselves. So if your truck has fenders that may bulge as it approaches the wheel wells, or your tires are wider than the outer fenders this would cause them to contact the stand and would not work. I personally would want to see at least 4" from the widest point to ensure enough clearance....

  • Recommended Truck Camper Jacks With The Highest Lift
I went ahead and took, and we actually don't have a camper jack system that will lift 8 feet high. The closest I was able to find is the: -Brophy Cable Camper Jacks # CJ74 which has a maximum lift of 67", as well as a combined weight capacity of 3,000-lbs. These jacks use aircraft grade cables, is made in the USA, and can be disassembled into 3 pieces for easy storage. • Recommended Replacement For An Atwood MPD 93756 RV Water Heater
Atwood unfortunately went out of business some time ago so you'll be looking at modifications to your gas and water line placement and possibly to your cutout hole as well. You might be able to find a replacement tank, but you'd likely be buying it secondhand. From what I can find on the Atwood MPD 93756 it's 12.5" tall x 16" wide so you'd most likely have to frame in the width a bit to mount a new water heater since as time goes on they keep getting smaller. Everyone is going tankless...

  • Troubleshooting Happijac Camper Jacks Making Clicking Noise and Not Raising or Lowering
The clicking you described hearing on your Happijack 4150 System along with the fact that they aren't raising or lowering the camper might actually be the result of a weak power source. I first recommend simply checking to make sure that the battery being used is fully charged and that all your wiring is still secure. Check for any pinched or exposed areas of wire that need to be replaced and verify that your ground is securely attached to a clean bare metal surface. If everything looks...

  • Will the Brophy Replacement Poles 1108 Fit Their CJ31Jacks?
With the Replacement Upright Pole # 1108 being a replacement for the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks # CJ74, it will have a 2 inch diameter. This will be larger than the 1-1/2 poles in your # CJ31 due to the additional height and weight capacity of this system. Unfortunately, Brophy does not offer a taller pole for the # CJ31 at this time. With that being said, if more height is needed, the only option we currently have will be to replace your current system with the # CJ74.

  • Light Duty Brophy Cable Camper Jack Options
If you're needing the 67" max lift then you can get two of the 1,500 lb version # CJ74H. Same Max Lift just half the weight capacity. If you do not really need up to 67 inches of lift, you can get the # CJ31 that will have a Max Lift of 57 inches and a capacity of 1,000 lbs. These are both great options that are more light duty than the 3,000 lb jacks # CJ74. I've included some videos for you to check out if you wanted to learn more!

  • Comparing Brophy CX74 and CJ74 Camper jacks
While the pipe diameters are the same the rest of the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks # CX74 and # CJ74 are different. The tripod bases have different bracing and the winch mount that has the angle iron section welded to it has different bracing as well. That's why the CJ74 has a 3,000 lb capacity and the CX74 has a 4,000 lb capacity.

  • Using CR Brophy CJ74 Camper Jacks to Lift Heavy Camper Shell
As long as the camper shell weighs less than the 3,000 lb capacity of the # CJ74 Camper jacks, you should only need one set. The lift bracket itself is 26-1/2 inches long, so be sure to place the brackets at the center of gravity of the camper shell so it'll be balanced once it's up on the jacks. If the camper shell is heavier, using 2 stes would be recommended.
