Note: Landing gear is designed to stabilize a portion of your trailer's weight, not to support the full GVWR of your trailer. Do not use landing gear to lift your trailer or RV during tire changes or service work because doing so will exceed the capacity of the landing legs.
Convenience is a hallmark of this landing gear from Stromberg Carlson. An inner drop leg on each jack makes leveling easy by allowing the jack feet to reach the ground quickly and at varying heights. The cage pins that secure the drop legs can be replaced with spring-loaded pull pins (LG-119113 - sold separately) that allow for single-handed operation. Large, rectangular, pivoting footpads are included, but you can use larger, 9-inch-diameter pads (LG-210475 - sold separately) instead if you often camp on soft ground.
This system and its parts were designed to be compatible with most of the other fifth-wheel landing gear on the market, including Atwood and Lippert. If you're replacing your old landing gear, you can install this set from Stromberg Carlson using your existing mounting hardware.

Direct replacement on 2005 Pilgrim 5th wheel. Had to notch 2X4 floor joists. If I ever do this again, I’ll be a repeat customer. They have worked flawlessly since the replacement.
Fairly easy install on my 1996 Coachman Catalina Lite 23RB 5th wheel. I had to do
a little grinding on one side to make the leading leg fit. I am pleased with the installation and glad to have a working good set of landing gear. The price was great compared to what a local RV dealer wanted for the same landing gear. I saved a few hundred dollars on the landing gear. etrailer was great to work with in finding the right landing gear that would work with my 5th wheel.
I got my legs they are on it is so nice not to have to jack the front of my fifth wheel up with two 20 ton bottleneck jacks now I just push the button the legs go up the legs go down it is amazing and Adam was wonderful he helped me out so much with getting my legs will tell all my RV people great place and awesome people very helpful.
This landing gear is a great replacement for my 25 year old unknown make landing gear. I did have to relocate the mounts in order to accommodate the manual crank feature ( a feature I have never had to use, but take comfort in knowing it's available if the need arises.) The kit was so complete it was not hard to relocate them, up 3/4" and back 1/4". As long as I was welding, I was able to fabricate a mount for my existing motor, allowing me to continue "crankless operation."
My only complaint was the directions regarding the plastic spacer that holds the gear box in place. The directions stated the spacer was on the lead leg's "rotor", with no explanation of what the rotor is. I would have called it the "input shaft," or better yet provided a photo. The directions said to see the photo below, but there was no such photo below. The only photo related to the spacer was a postage stamp sized image which was too small to glean any detail from. I found the spacer in the hardware bag, along with a self-tapping screw that aligned with the hole in the "rotor" and figured out how to install the spacer. It's taking longer for me to type this than it did to figure it out, but it should have been clearer.
I'm about to run out of room, so in summation, It's a GREAT product!

Works great.. A little short, but the only replacement available without relocating the weld stops. I really appreciate all the help I received from etrailer..
Lisa really helped with selecting a set of landing gear with the correct weld stop spacing for my application. She found me a heavier set than oem that fit perfectly and worked with my power drive. I have always been impressed with the customer service I receive from etrailer.

Jacks are still working fine.
After stripping the gears out of the landing gear on my 5th wheel camper, I went online and found out that Atwood no longer supplies jacks for campers. I contacted Etrailer Corp. and they found replacement jacks for me. When the new jacks arrived, they bolted up easily and everything fit as it was supposed to. Etrailer was very nice to work with, shipped the product very quickly, and is an excellent vendor. Thank you.
Fast delivery and just as pictured on their site. Needed a front trailer jack for my 5th wheel and they had just what I needed. Very polite on the phone and very helpful. Was very easy to install even for an old man that is not to good with things like this.
The Stromberg Carlson manual landing gear that I ordered arrived on time and as advertised. Within an hour I had the old landing gear removed and new one installed. It worked great and matched up perfectly with our existing motor. No photo was taken due to the limited view. The salesperson was great to work with...
These were used on my 1997 travel trailer. They are considerably stronger than the set I removed and bolted direct into the original mounts. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a replacement set.
These jacks were a replacement for factory jacks on my 2004 Montanna mod 3575RL . The landing gear fit perfectly with no hassles , and for an 80 year old man easy to install . They have so far , worked perfectly .

The jack legs are great. Never a problem!
Went in pretty easy. Took about 2 1/2 hours. I was able to use my existing mounts but one of the mounts was off just enough to make me cus. After a little grinding everything went together pretty easy. I would suggest replacing the carriage bolt nuts with locking nuts.
The new jacks for my 5th wheel were a perfect replacement. Easily installed and looks like OPM
