This product is exactly as quoted and delivery time was outstanding

by:

Just what I needed, and built with strong material

by:

Tire carrier was as expected and on time, pleasurable experience doing business with you

by:

Tire rack works very well, good and sturdy. Was mailed fast too.

by:

Sturdy product, well made. Mounted with ease. Held my spare without any problems. This was a good purchase.

by:

I just installed it on my bumper. Easy to install. Haven't put the tire on it yet. I don't have any doubt it will do the job for me. Shipping time was great. Would do business with this company again.

by:

This was a good solution for my RV's spare tire...I will have to make an adapter for the center as it doesnt exactly fit but I am satisfied with the product.

by:

This Spare tire carrier is just exactly what I needed and is doing a good job. Thanks for your promptness of getting it to m. Great Job!

by:

easy to mount, vertical channel not boxed as shown, a little flimsy for my tastes but should carry the spare for awhile...

I have no problem with this mount, It worked as I expected it tooI would buy another one if and when I needed one

by:

The product arrived in good condition. It is what I was expecting. The only problem was there was no product information included. Although this product is pretty much self explanatory I would have liked to have some paperwork included or return paperwork in case I needed to return it for whatever reason.
I was pleased with how quickly it arrived. Thank you etrailer for all the correspondence and care in your delivery.
A happy customer!!

by:

I haven't mounted it yet but appears to be nice and strong and much better than anything else avaailable out there. etrailer.com gives super service. It arrived in two business days. Their communication has been excellent so far and they seem genuinely concerned that you are staisfied. I will deal with these folks again-for sure.

by:

GRETA PRODUCT ! GREAT PRICE, EASY ORDERING, EASY INSTALLATION. VERY STURDY. FIT MY 1964 TERRY TRAILER PERFECT.
I RECOMMEND IT TO ALL !!!

by:

Carrier was easy to mount and appears rugged. I am a little concerned that the spare tire is retained with just one nut. I may add a ratchet strap as a backup.

by:

Easy to install, very high quality.

by:

Great Product for what it is intended for just wish the bolt pattern was just a little more versital for the 8 inch trailer four lug trailer tires but will work with slight mod.

Thanks Ron W

by:

Overall the product is great and will serve it's purpose. The only drawback was one of the lug nuts did not have any threads so I couldn't use it. I had some extra lugs laying around so I managed to make it work. But no worries - you will be the first sight I visit the next time I need trailering equipment.

This item was well packaged and arrived with no damage. There were no installation instructions (the only reason I didn't give it an excellent), but none were really needed. Installation was quite straight-forward. It mounts solidly, and holds our spare very well.

by:

The package arrived in three days. The bracket is sturdy and simple in concept. I had the bracket installed and the tire mounted in a half hour. My application is a popup (ALiner) camper. The 4" X 4" rear bumper is rather close to the road. This bracket has the virtue of raising the tire above the mounting point. It also has enough offset so that the tire is not jammed against the back wall. This is my third order from eTrailer. I highly recommend them.

by:

Easy installation. I painted my mounting bolt to improve look. Good product for the price. The only improvements to this would be nut caps and maybe a rubber backing to the center mounting plate to prevent scratching spare wheel. I still would recommend.

The spare tire mount is still holding up after 1 year. The coating still looks good. I would still recommend.

by:

Quick shipping and cheaper price than I thought. Great value for a simple replacement carrier. Works better than the one that came with the rv.

Sounds like a you found a real winner here Frank! What more could you ask for?

by:

This mounted on our trailer bumper just fine. It has 2 bolts, one in the center and one that goes through one of the lug nut holes in the wheel. The lug nut hole location works fine and can be tightened properly. The center one has a thin metal cross bar that bends easily. I tossed that and replaced it with a wooden block that fits in the center of the wheel. That works great and can be tightened.

  • Spare Tire Carrier for 4 Lug Trailer Wheel
I do have options for your 4 lug wheel but the Bumper Mounted Tire Carrier part # TR-1 only works with 5, 6, and 8 lug wheels. Unfortunately, we do not have any spare tire carriers that will work with a 4 lug wheel and affix to a 4" wide x 4" tall rear bumper. Check out the Fulton # FSTC1000301 which can mount on the trailer frame or back 4X4 inch bumper. I have attached a list of our spare tire carries that will work with a 4 lug wheel for you as well.

  • Recommended Spare Tire Carrier Along With Tire And Cover For 2017 Coleman Lantern 244BH
The rear of your 2017 Coleman Lantern Series 244BH has the standard 4 inch bumper. For this application, I recommend the Bumper Mounted Tire Carrier - U-Bolt Mount # TR-1. This will allow you to mount your spare tire to your back bumper. There are many different tire options for your trailer, but I was able to narrow it down a little based on a 15 inch wheel and Radial tire. For your spare I recommend the Taskmaster Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Vesper Silver Mod...

The Ultra-Fab Folding Spare Tire Carrier for Trailers and RVs part # UF15-954730 is virtually identical to the Bumper Mounted Tire Carrier part # TR-1. • Is The Rectangle Securing Plate For The Bumper Mounted Tire Carrier An Available Replacement Part
Unfortunately, the only parts sold separately from the Bumper Mounted Tire Carrier # TR-1 are replacement bumper mount u-bolts # TR-2200 and the replacement bolts # 2109 for securing the tire to the carrier. You would have to buy the whole carrier to get the little rectangular piece that clamps down on the wheel to secure it. That being said you could also just get a scrap piece of metal that's long enough to cover the bore hole of your spare wheel and drill a large enough hole through...

  • Solution for Mounting Spare Tire on Cargo Trailer With 6" x 2" Frame
Hi Jerry; the only spare tire carrier that may fit your 6" x 2" frame is the CE Smith Spare Tire Mount # CE22011Z-11050-2. This can fit a frame up to 3" wide so you could lay the tire on top of the frame to mount it. The mount is 12-1/4" long so you will have to determine if it can make it around the 6" frame and through the wheel which will depend on your tire width and wheel offset. The Demco Trailer Stake Pocket Spare Tire Mount # DM15850-52 you looked at could also be an option. This...

The 24x84 etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper part # e96ZR can hold a spare tire but there isn't any sort of specific mount for this. The photo attached below is a custom job from a neighbor and I'm not totally sure what they used to create this. The # TR-1 doesn't have a set weight capacity. Stromberg Carlson has tested this tire carrier to 100,000 miles on a 50lb 225/75R15 travel trailer tire. They do not have any information on a 75 lb setup. However, the Brophy Rigid Mount Spare Tire Carrier # BR56VR would be able to handle it.
