Hi R,

I'm sorry to hear that your spare tire fell off! We do have a variety of different spare tire mounting options, so you can choose whatever one would work best for you. One of the easiest mounts is the CE Smith Spare Tire Mount for Trailers part # CE22007Z-11050-2. It fits 4 and 5 lug wheels up to 15" and installs by bolting around the trailer tongue through the bolt holes of the wheel.

If you are wanting to put a spare on a RV or trailer bumper, you can use the Stromberg Carlson Universal Bumper Spare Tire Mount part # TR-1. This tire mount fits 4" square bumpers and works with wheels that are 15" to 16" and fits most 5, 6, and 8 lug wheels (doesn't work with Class A or Class C tires or dual rim wheels). The top bolt and lug nut attach through a bolt hole on the wheel, and the bottom bolt, plate, and nut further secure the wheel through the pilot hole.

Where are you wanting to install your spare tire carrier at?

Thank you for this information.. I want to install it on my raft trailer which typically is used ease a landscape trailer. Single axle 10’l x 5’ w. I’ll take a look at both mounts you mentioned.
