Is The Rectangle Securing Plate For The Bumper Mounted Tire Carrier An Available Replacement Part

Do you know the dimensions for the metal retention plate in question from my previous email?

Unfortunately, the only parts sold separately from the Bumper Mounted Tire Carrier # TR-1 are replacement bumper mount u-bolts # TR-2200 and the replacement bolts # 2109 for securing the tire to the carrier. You would have to buy the whole carrier to get the little rectangular piece that clamps down on the wheel to secure it.

That being said you could also just get a scrap piece of metal that's long enough to cover the bore hole of your spare wheel and drill a large enough hole through the center to let the bolt pass through.

The retention plate you're referring to is 5-3/4" x 1-1/2".
