This shank offers both rise and drop positions. Fits 2-1/2" trailer hitch receivers. 11 Bolt holes let you adjust the height of your weight distribution system. Powder coated steel resists corrosion.

Ordered a Curt shank, with more drop for my new F-250, to fit a Husky dist. hitch, perfectly. Received promptly, and installed the same day! Waiting on the weekend to pull the camper!

This was a perfect drop hitch for a 2018 ford f350. Bought to use with a reese weight Distribution system and works great. Good product and a great place to buy!

Still working great we pull our camper every weekend.
Exactly what I needed to level out my weight distribution hitch. As always etrailer had a great price, for a great product, with amazing costumer service. They are now my go to retailer for all of my trailer needs.
worked great with a hitch that came with a used camper I got. need this to fit my lifted 3/4 ton truck.
Ordered this for my 2016 Ram 3500. The truck is stock but is still higher than the previous 1500. In setting it up for a trailer height and weight distribution hitch height of 19 inches I found that there were still had three holes below the bottom bolt of the hitch. It has worked flawlessly and would recommend this shank. PS. The shank is 9.5 inches from the ground. Still plenty of clearance.

Just what I needed for my jayco 23b and 2020 Silverado 2500hd. Perfect drop for my equalizer hitch, trailer rides nice and level.
Heavy as hell and built to last, having mounted it and the hitch on it, adjusting and then removing, let me tell you this is seriously built and sturdy. I will have confidence in towing my 6500 lb RV from my lifted 4WD (4") utilizing the drop capability of this hitch. Needed 2 1/2 inches more drop and still not using the last three holes of capability.

Hitch works very good. No need for the sleeve adapter anymore. Only issue I had was it was too much of a drop. Had to cut about three holes off of the bottom. Otherwise I was hitting ground going into driveways.
Just recieved my Curt 8" drop shank for my weight distribution hitch, just what I needed for my lifted truck to be able pull my RV. Awesome Customer service. Thanks again
So far, product has performed as advertised. This weight distribution hitch shank is made by Curt but I have a Reese hitch. The Reese hitch head fit like they are made for each other. This will allow my travel trailer to be towed in a level position.
Works as expected. Wish there was less “slop”. When not connected to a trailer I can hear it bounce around in my receiver. There are a few entrances that I do drag on. My truck is a stock 2022 ram 3500 dually.
The hitch shank is good quality. I bought for a stock 2018 F350 4 wheel drive. It was actually a little longer than I needed. I probably could have gotten by with the shorter shank.

The shank that came was exactly what I ordered and arrived a day earlier than expected. Works great with my eaz lift weight distribution hitch.
I used the c17132 shank to replace my original 2” camper trailer shank, which was not big enough to fit on my new 2500 ram. It works great. No slack or shake and makes pulling so much better.

Still working great. Would prefer a tighter fit in the receiver, but, other hitches have similar fit. Great product!
