If you’ve already got a Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store gooseneck hitch, this adapter makes it easy to switch over for 5th wheel towing. It drops right into the round ball hole to give you above-bed rails, so you can mount a standard above-bed 5th-wheel hitch. It’s a simple way to make your existing setup do double duty without installing permanent rails.
Built to handle real weight, this adapter is rated for 20,000 lbs gross towing weight and 4,000 lbs vertical load. That means you can tow heavy 5th wheel trailers without pushing the limits. The solid steel construction gives you confidence that your hitch and trailer will stay secure mile after mile.
You don’t need a complicated setup to get rolling. Just drop the adapter into the gooseneck ball hole and lock it in place using the same mechanism that holds your gooseneck ball. Rubber pads on the underside help keep it stable and prevent sliding around in the bed. When you’re done, it removes just as easily, leaving your bed open for other work.
The steel frame is finished with a black carbide powder coat and coated in liquid Aquence for added durability. These finishes help resist rust and wear so the adapter holds up to years of towing and weather exposure. It’s made to keep looking good and performing reliably no matter how often you swap between gooseneck and 5th wheel towing.

It works great I was a little concerned at first because I couldnt get the hitch pin to go in. Finally hooked it up to my fifth wheel and problem was solved. The weight of fifth wheel pushed it in far enough for hitch pin to go thru. Probably better to fit snug than to be loose.

I will have our customer service team reach out to you. I do have a few recommendations for you. Bed liners and bed mats may affect the fit of the adapter and trimming may be necessary. This system will not work with fifth-wheel hitches or pin boxes that rotate, nor auto-slide fifth-wheel hitches.
