How To Install a 5th Wheel Hitch On a 2016 Ford F-250 with Curt Gooseneck Hitch

I have a 2016 Ford F250 69inch bed and need a 5th wheel hitch, the picture that is attached is what i currently have in my truck. I believe I need a slider hitch, unsure of what all I need to pull a 17k 5th wheel trailer, please help. Thank you

It looks like you have either the Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch part # C60720 or the Curt EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # C60683 installed on your 2016 Ford F-250. If that is the case then I have great news for you as there is an adapter available that allows you to use a sliding 5th wheel hitch, the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter part # C16210 for Double Lock or part # C16220 for EZr.
The Curt X5 Adapter will then allow you to use most above bed sliding 5th wheel hitches like the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider part # C16541 which is what I recommend.
The only other option would be to completely remove the 5th wheel hitch and install an above bed 5th wheel install kit.
