Slider Recommendation for Curt 20k Fifth Wheel Hitch for Turning Clearance

Sounds like you are trying to switch up your fifth wheel hitch setup so that you have more turning clearance. Whether you use a fifth wheel rail kit or a gooseneck adapter the center of the hitch's jaws are going to be right above the center of the truck's axle.
You can use a slider hitch with the # C16210 so if you have this adapter already and a non-slider hitch you'd probably be good just using a slider hitch as well. Since you have a 20k Curt hitch the slider you'd need to use with it is the part # C16550.
