Is the Husky EZ Roller 5th Wheel Slider Hitch Compatible With The Curt X5 5th Wheel Rail Adapter?

I have a 2009 Dodge ram 2500 crew cab and a Husky EZ roller Valley 7053 hitch. Wanted to double check compatibility on everything before purchase.

I reached out to my contact at Curt and checked on the compatibility of your hitch with the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches, # 16310. He pointed out that the center of the X5 is raised slightly and some Husky/Valley Hitches didn't allow enough clearance. He said if your hitch didn't sit on the center of the adapter and the pins can be attached your 5th wheel slider will work.

I pulled the X5 to measure and the rise in the center is 1 inch above the rails. So as long as your Husky EZ roller Valley 7053 hitch has more than 1 inch of clearance between where the hitch connects with the rails at the top of the tabs and any other portion of your hitch including your slider lever, your hitch will be compatible.
