This hitch is rated at 21,000 lbs gross towing weight and 5,250 lbs vertical load, giving it the strength to handle large fifth-wheel trailers on long hauls. The solid steel construction and rust-resistant black powder coat create a rigid, stable platform that feels secure mile after mile. It’s the kind of heavy-duty build you want when pulling serious weight through varied terrain.
The automatic slider gives you up to 14" of extra clearance when making slow-speed turns, so those tight campsite maneuvers don’t turn into cab-to-trailer contact. The rack-and-pinion gear system moves smoothly and automatically—no levers or manual release needed. As your trailer rotates up to 90 degrees, the hitch glides back toward the tailgate and then returns forward when you straighten out, all without jerking or binding.

The single-piece wraparound jaw fully surrounds the king pin for 360-degree contact, giving you a tight hold that reduces rattle and chucking on rough roads. A 3/4" thick solid steel locking bar reinforces that connection so the trailer stays securely coupled. With this setup, you get a smoother ride and extra confidence every time you pull away.

The double-pivot hitch head moves both front to back and side to side, automatically pivoting into position when coupling. Three polyurethane dampeners absorb road shock and cut down on noise from the hitch head movement. The result is an easier hookup process and a quiet, cushioned towing experience that feels steady over uneven pavement or long distances.
Installation is straightforward with the included rail adapter designed for factory prep packages. Just drop the adapter into the puck receivers, pin it in place, bolt on the side plates, and set your hitch height—15-1/4", 16-1/2", or 18". The diamond-plate tread base adds traction and style while the spring-loaded handle with tethered safety pin keeps coupling simple and secure.

Hey, guys. This is Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Demco OEM GM Puck System Rails. These are gonna drop directly into the factory puck system on your GM truck. So, that's Chevy or GMC. And it's going to have two different rail options.
The only one that you're missing is the widest rail option. So, most of them are going to fit in the two center ones. There are some wider kits that have higher capacities that'll fit in these outer ones. This rail kit is gonna have a capacity of 25,000 pounds. Has a nice, thick black powder coat finish, that's gonna help resist rust and corrosion.
Demco does a really good job with their paint jobs. It's textured, so things are gonna be more likely to slide off of it, than to grab onto that paint and cause any scratches or chipping. One of the nicest thing about this kit is that it's gonna drop directly into your puck system. You can lock it in by pulling these levers. Something I like about these is that the levers actually have a direction that they're supposed to go in, and then you can put the pin in to lock them in place.
I will say, if you have trouble getting these latches to match up to the pucks in the floor of your the bed of your truck, what we did was we just loosened these four bolts on each of these brackets, and then it was able to move just the slightest bit to get them dropped down in place, and then we torque them down again. So, once you get it set, it's great. I like it because you don't have to make the initial investment of getting a new fifth wheel hitch just to match it to your truck bed. If you like to get trucks every couple of years, a lot of people don't like to put a lot of miles on their truck. They'll get a new one.
If you get the same truck, you can take this set of rails, put it in the new truck bed, and it match up great. If you decide to go with a different brand, you just have to get a new rail kit. You don't have to get a whole new fifth wheel hitch. Well, guys, hopefully this video helped you decide whether or not the Demco OEM Puck System Rails is gonna be right for you and your vehicle.

I have had Reese adapters for Ford and Ram and the Demco is by far the best built for ease of engagement and adjustment there is. Great job DEMCO!!
Great customer service! Called to verify if this would work in my new GMC 2500, along with my previous demco hitch. Fit like a glove! Fast shipping. Always happy with E-Trailer! Thanks guys!
Outstanding product, fast shipping and excellent customer service by Amy!!!!
Does NOT fit my Hijacker "Ultra Slide" as recommended by the professional chat [at] etrailer.com. The slots and holes do not line up and are to narrow. Will be returning.
The adapter fit my 2020 GMC 3500 like a glove just like Korren said it would.I ordered it on a Thursday and got it the following Tuesday.
Just received the adapter and 15 minutes to install. However, you likely will have to loosen the 9/16 bolts on one side to get it to drop into the puck holes then torque back down. Mine was just a 1/32 off and would not drop until I loosened the bolts which allowed the locking tabs to drop into the puck.
This is a quality piece of equipment. I can't wait to use it. The installation directions were complete and easy to follow. Looks fantastic.
It fits the new 2020 Gmc / Chevrolet
And has two different sized hitch connections for US standard hitches you got to loosen up where the handles are with a wrench set it down make sure they lineup and then tighten it down and snap it in
Product is very well built. Installation would have went much quicker had there been directions explaining to loosen the 4 9/16 bolts at each handle to allow play for the adapter to fall into pick system. Then retighten bolts. What should have taken 10 minutes took over an hour and reading others reveiws.
To be honest, I wish I had gotten an 8' bed on my new truck so I wouldn't need to get a sliding hitch. It's very heavy! You have to have an engine lift to put it in and that's not very easy to do either. The arm isn't long enough so you will have to move the hitch around by hand after you hoist it up into the bed. Very heavy! But, if you have a short bed truck it's the only hitch to get to protect your cab.
I love the adapter. Received it really fast, and it dropped in and fit really well. I have a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500hd, with fifth wheel prep package. I also have a Curt E16, with A16 slider to use on it.
Excellent service, was able to ship my item to me in 3 days!!! Will always refer friends and family to etrailer! The Demco 6333 fit my 2020 Denali dually perfect so I could keep my 5th wheel hitch...
Excellent product, I bought a 2020 GMC diesel the rail adapter fit perfect. As you can see in the picture, a husky fifth wheel hitch fit this adapter. The instructions that come with the adapter made it easy to install.
Just had to make a small adjustment to fit the puck system but in the end, fit perfectly and seems fairly tight. My Reese slider hitch fit perfectly.
I got a new 2021 GMC with the puck system and I wanted to be able to use my existing Pullrite Superglide 2700 hitch. I looked at the Pullrite adapter...that's a multi-piece rail system and was thinking more likely to rattle. Found this Demco adapter which is one piece and a better price.
Just put the adapter (and the hitch) in the truck this morning. Following the instructions, loosened the bolts and it dropped right in. The only thing that would've made this better is if the temp was above freezing.
Outstanding product. But even more outstanding was Customer Service and expert technical advice. All questions to the technical experts were processed fast and right on with correct answers. Customer service was unbelievable. I called them with a concern on shipment that was being held up. They got right in it and before the evening was gone my shipment was. Processed and at my house in three days. I was in a bind to move my fifth wheel and without a working hitch in my new truck. They came through with the product and shipment so I could move my camper and not have any issues.
As others have said, etrailer is above others on customer service and reliability of product and great technical help. My choice of business when I need something or have to have the correct technical data.
Thanks for the extra effort.
This is an excellent product to use for the Demco auto slider 5th wheel. Follow the directions and it will drop right into the pucks. It's heavy so it will take another pair of hands unless you're Arnold. I'm alone, so I have a 2 ton engine hoist that works real well. My auto slider drops right into adapter rails. An excellent piece of equipment from etrailer. Best place to buy rv equipment. When needed, they're an excellent choice for advice. I might add that this adapter is only for the 2020 Silverado and GMC Sierra. They have different ones for Ford and Ram. I would definitely buy from etrailer again.
This review is for the Demco Autoslide 21k and accompanying OEM rail adaptor I purchased for a 2020 Ram 3500 Megacab DRW. I've owned it one year. Overall, the hitch performs as I expected. It is high quality, very sturdy and seems like it will last for a long time. I had it installed at the dealer when I purchased the truck. It automatically slides to protect the cab in my 6'4" bed without any incidents. I tow a standard fifth wheel RV. There are a few negatives, which are not necessarily shortcoming of the product but, instead, necessary evils to allow me to have a short bed. First, it is BIG and BULKY. I believe this is just a function of the mechanism required to allow the autosliding feature and I am not really sure there are any other lighter alternatives with this feature. The fact it requires two parts (OEM Puck Rail and hitch), make it even more bulky. It takes up almost the entire bed and prevents most auxillary tank / tool box combos from fitting. Even standard size storage bins will not fit in my bed. I would prefer if they had a custom OEM all-in-one hitch for my truck like they do for the Ford. It adds significant weight, which decreases carrying capacity, which can be at a premium in hauling a heavy fifth wheel. I've never even tried to take it out of the bed due to the weight and difficulty. I also am not very happy with the adjustable catch plate design. It requires significant manipulation loosening and tightening 8 nuts when hitching and unhitching. This requires a step ladder to reach the nuts. I also found out after the fact that it does not come with the right size catch plate attachments for my hitch and I had to purchase a separate part, which added unexpected expense and delayed my taking the RV on its first trip. Overall, I am satisfied with the hitch.
Very easy install and super fast delivery. Unit is heavy duty without being too unmanageable to handle. Very well made. Going to feel very secure going down the road.
This adapter allowed me to use the Curt A16 hitch I already owned. This DEMCO 6333 adapter is an absolute monster. Incredibly well built with precise machining. The hitch fits very well.
Since each truck is built within a certain tolerance and slightly different I had to make a minor adjustment to the lock down positions to get the perfect fit. By loosening all 4 bolts on each of the lock down handles I was able to get the adapter to drop right in place.
Comparing this adapter to others is no comparison.
This DEMCO 6333 is much sturdier.
I added a picture of the Curt A16 mounted on the DEMCO 6333 under the LUND Tri-fold cover. Overall, this is a great combination.
I wanted to be sure to say "THANKS" to Montrell (etrailer Rep) who ensured the DEMCO was a proper fir for my truck as well as processing the order quickly. Job Well Done!!
I like to hitch but unfortunately doesn’t work for my trailer as it won’t travel level meaning it was to high in the bed of the truck causing to much weight to be on the rear axle of the trailer which will cause other issues like wearing tires, wheel bearings, axles and could cause rear tires to blow out while traveling. With discussion with Will at ETrailer we worked out to use a stationary hitch until one can be available for our situation. Will was excellent to work out our options.
Built just like the rails I had in my old truck. I actually had the Curt adapter plate before this one and had to return it because it added too much height to my hitch. This one saved me a half inch and hopefully the $[XX] bed cover I purchased will work now.
Took me less than two hours to install by myself (heavy)....and it dawned on me which sets of bolts needed to be loosened up to allow the device to seat EASILY into the pucs. Fits my 5th wheel setup perfectly!
Package arrived mangled, barely able to get it out of the delivery truck without it falling out of the packaging. In the end, no harm done, contents were not damaged.
Bought for use on a 2024 Chevy 2500 HD with factory installed pucks. Mounted a PullRite model #2700 slider fifth wheel hitch on top of the adapter. Adapter is very heavy duty and well designed. Per the instructions I loosened all of the latch bolts prior to installation into the truck. Retorqed once everything was in place. Simple, took less than 30 minutes. Then reinstalled my PullRite hitch without any issues.
Adapter seems well made and rock solid. Will have to wait until I tow again to see how everything rides. The height of the installment measures roughly 1.5-2 inches higher than before.
Ordering was a breeze, arrived in less than 3 days. Mike was very helpful throughout the process.
Do you have a question about this 5th Wheel Hitch?
