Good morning! Last week I posed a question about which fifth wheel hitch/mounting system combo best suited my Dodge Ram mega cab. Jameson C. Replied quickly with a very knowledgeable answer, and I just wanted to say thank you! Turns out that advice I got from other rv parts suppliers was probably angled at selling me expensive parts not necessary to my application! On further research, Ive confirmed that Jameson told me exactly what I needed to pull my avalanche safely and easily.... so again, thank you for your help and will definitely be back to shop with you!!

For a slider hitch for your 2017 Ram 3500 with the factory fifth wheel rail kit the best option I can recommend is a Demco Hijacker Autoslide hitch like the part # DM8550035 which has a 21k capacity. I really like this hitch as it automatically slides back as you make tight turns so you never have to get out and mess with the slider mechanism.

Then to fit this hitch to the factory rail kit of your truck you'll need the rail kit adapter part # DM6099 and you'll be set.
