Question:
I have a Patriot 18K slider I bought from your company 2yrs ago and am looking to buy a new 2020 Chevy with the installed puck system. Are there any options available that you know of so I do not have to buy a complete new BandW hitch system but not install rails I heard DEMCO has a 6333 adapter for 2020 Chevy and Patriot, but also heard it will not work with Patriot slider. Can the head on my Patriot work on a Companion chevy OEM slider base? The new Chevy is the standard bed. thanks

Great questions. The Patriot 18K slider # BWRVK3270 is a great hitch. The head will not fit on a Companion base, but there is an adapter you can use as you stated for your new Chevy with OEM pucks. I normally recommend using the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 21K # DM6333 you referenced but it is specifically not compatible with the Patriot Slider hitch. It works with every other hitch to our knowledge. We don't currently have an adapter to fit the new puck dimensions that are compatible with your slider.
My recommendation is to sell your USA made Patriot Slider which is a great hitch and shouldn't be too difficult to sell and then get the Companion Slider for the OEM pucks on your 2020 Chevy # BWRVK3775 which is compatible with your truck. Because B&W is such a great quality this is my recommendation but you can alternatively use the Demco adapter # DM6333 with a sliding hitch other than the Patriot that is compatible with the industry standard rails that the adapter emulates.

Jason, why will it not work with the slider? Does the bottom C shaped part of the main structure weldment, crash into the rails of the adapter? The slide can’t crash it 6 inches higher. I only have one component at my house, which is the slider hitch, but I can’t figure out why it wouldn’t work with the adapter? No one seems to have an answer. I have the people I talk to say it will work and the other half say it won’t because it hits the slide. From what I see there is no way it hits the slide, maybe part of the (stationary) base weldment as stated above. Thank you.
