Question:
I have a 2019 Ram 2500 short bed and I really want to install a fifth wheel hitch that automatically slides as I turn the truck so that I don't have to get out and mess with a slider. I see there is a Pullrite option and a Demco Hijacker that both do this. Which is the better choice?

For your 2019 Ram 2500 short bed with the factory fifth wheel rail kit I recommend the Demco Hijacker autoslide part # DM8550034 for an 18k hitch or part # DM8550035 for a 21k hitch with the adapter plate part # DM6099 over the Pullrite hitches for a few reasons.
The hitch head on the Hijacker has built-in brackets that hold it to your pin box since it needs to lock to the pin box as you make turns to allow the slider mechanism to automatically operate. The Pullrite option requires purchasing a separate capture plate for the pin box you have on your trailer. This adds additional cost to a hitch that costs more as well. Also the Demco hitches have a few height settings available and the Pullrite has only one height setting.
The Hijacker height settings: 15-1/4", 16-1/2", and 18" when compared to the one 18-1/2" height setting of the SuperGlide. This makes the Hijacker much more versatile for different towing situations.

I have a 2021 GMC Sierra 3500HD SRW with puck system. I have Demco 6077, 6402 and 6081. Is there any way for me to lower mine to the 15 1/4” height adjustment? Any attachments?

I have a 2015 ram3500 mega 4x4, I pull a 42 ft fifth wheel, my truck has the factory puck system, and a Reece picture frame adapter, my issue is my fifth wheel rides nose high and my tail of my trailer drags, my hitch in the truck is very high and I was wandering if I switch to the Demco 18000 pound ,if the height adjustment while mounted on my existing pichture frame would allow the for 3 three to 4 inch to bring my nose down? Also your specs on the Demco 18000 pound hitch say the heigh goes from 15 1/4 to 18 inches and if so is that measurement solo or when it’s sitting on the picture frame.
