Standard 2-Bike Rack Ball Hole Mount
The simple design on this original two-bike rack offers riders basic carrier functionality. Its solid steel construction provides lasting toughness. Kraton vinyl cushioning helps protect frames and offers additional gripping power. The top plate accommodates several different frame sizes, and lockable turning knobs secure bikes to the arm. Keep your bikes safe by adding a couple of optional padlocks. This rack attaches to a flat surface with a 3/4" diameter hole, making it great for step bumpers or trailer hitch ball mounts.

Video Transcript for Swagman 2 Hitch Bike Ball Mount Rack Review
Today we are going to show you part number S64095 from Swagman. This is a 2-bicycle carrier for 1-1/4 and 2-inch trailer hitch receivers. How this bicycle carrier works is that it actually mounts into the ball hole of either/or receiver. It requires a ball with a 3/4-inch shank or you can bolt it to your bumper, also, using a 3/4-inch nut-and-bolt assembly. As you can see here, we have this bicycle rack here actually mounted to the bumper using a 3/4-inch bolt-and-nut assembly to hold it in place. Pretty simple. Again, you can do it like this on your bumper, or you can install this on your ball mount on a 2-inch or 1-1/4 inch receiver hitch.
Construction of this bicycle rack is steel tubing with powder coat on top of it. This carrier will carry two bicycles with one plate holding both of them down in place. And we will demonstrate that here. Go ahead and undo the top handle here and take the plate off. Install your bike, and then the plate goes back on top of it. Go ahead and set your bike on there and balance it if you need to, and then your plate simply goes back on top. All right, and with that your bike is safely ready to go down the road.
What is nice about this bicycle rack is that the cradles are covered with this rubber material. And it also has grooves inside of here to make way for your bicycle cables. And what is nice is there is an opening on the plate and on the bottom plate here so you can put a padlock through to secure it while you are away from the bikes. If you were to add a hitch to your Ranger, there are several hitch mounted bike racks that will tilt-down or swing out. Some tilt-down racks may not come down far enough for a truck bed tail gate.
