Is there any way to prevent theft of my bike and bike rack? I'd hate to spend the money and then have it stolen like what happened to me a few years ago. I've seen some people use a cheap cable or padlock. thank you.

Hello Joseph, yes there is! What you are looking for is the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable Lock for 2" Hitch Mounted Bike Racks # e88RV.
This will work with the Benton Bike Rack # B54VR, as well as the # B94FR and # B54FR so that the bike and rack cannot be easily stolen off your vehicle's hitch.
