Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2005 Pontiac Vibe

Today on our 2005 Pontiac Vibe, well be test fitting the Thule Square Load Bar System using the 50 inch bars with part number THLB50 and the Thule Crossroad Roof Mounted Roof Railing Foot Pack, part number TH450. With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, well begin our test fit by placing the front bar onto the front part of our roof. Well go ahead and set the bar, so our foot packs are in place around our side rails. Since we dont have very much side rail to work with, well go ahead and scoot our foot packs all the way up to the front. Well find a fixed point on the side rails to align our feet and then we can check for even bar overhang on each side of our vehicle. Well take the strap, bring it around the bar back into the foot pack and use the included tool to tighten it in place.



Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2008 Pontiac Vibe

Alright on this 2008 Pontiac Vibe, we're going to do a test fit of Thule Roof Rack System. We will be using a Thule Rapid Aero Foot Pack and a Thule AeroBlade Load Bars 47 inches wide. Okay, we're going to start off with our test fit with our roof rack already assembled according to the instructions. So what I'm going to do is put it on the factory roof rack. We'll start of by placing the load bar in the center of the factory roof rack where there is most room and then we'll go ahead and slide it up towards the front. To make sure that our load bars are square, we'll measure from the edge of the factory roof rack to the center of the foot pack on both sides.



Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2008 Pontiac Vibe

Alright, today on this 2008 Pontiac Vibe were going to do a test fit of the Thule Crossroad roof rack using part #: thlb50 and #: th450. Were going to start off with our load bars already assembled according to the instructions, so all we have to do is place them on the factory roof rack. Well start by placing our first load bar in the middle of the roof rack, then scoot it towards the front. Now to square up our bars were going to measure off an edge off the factory roof rack to the center or the Crossroads foot pack. In this case well be using a measurement of 3 inches, but this measurement will vary depending on the type of accessories that you will use. With the load bar in the correct spot well make sure that the bar is even on both sides.



Thule AeroBlade Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2009 Pontiac Vibe

Today we have a 2009 Pontiac Vibe and well be testing a Thule roof rack. Well be using the 47 inch aero blade bars and the rapid traverse feet. We already have our load bar assemblies put together, and now were ready to mount them on the vehicle. First thing we need to do is open the driver and passenger front side doors. Next well set the front load assembly up on top of the roof and set its position. The front load bar needs to be placed 15 inches back from the edge of the seal on our wind shield, to the front edge of our traverse feet.



Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2009 Pontiac Vibe

Today we will be working on this 2009 Pontiac Vibe, and we will be test fitting a Thule Roof Rack System. We will be using the 50 load bars and the Traverse Foot kit. We already have our load bar assemblies put together, and now were ready to mount them on the vehicle. First we need to open the drivers and the passengers side front doors. Now we are ready to place our load bar assembly up on top of the roof. To position the front assembly we will measure 15 from the front of the windshield seal to the leading edge of the Traverse feet on both sides of the vehicle.



Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2009 Pontiac Vibe

install-yakima-q0towers-2009-pontiac-vibe Today we have a 2009 Pontiac Vibe. We will be doing a test fit of the Yakima Roof Rack with the 58 inch cross bars and the Q-Towers. We already have the crossbar assemblies put together, now we just need to mount them on the vehicle. First thing we need to do is open the drivers side and the passenger side front doors. Now we are going to place the front crossbar assembly on top of our vehicle and set its position. Now we need to measure from the edge of the seal on the windshield to the front edge of the Q-Towers.

Thule Big Mouth Roof Bike Rack Review - 2005 Pontiac Vibe

Today on our 2005 Pontiac Vibe, well be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number TH599XTR. With a Thule Square Load Bar System assembled onto our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the Big Mouth directly onto our bars. Here at the front, well bring the clamp around the front bar, drop the T-bolt through the appropriate slot and use the wing nuts to tighten in place. Well do this for both sides at the front platform to secure the front of our bike rack. At the rear well loosen up the wing nut and bring our bracket around our rear bar. Well drop the bolt through the hole in the bracket and tighten both the wing nuts.
