Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2016 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2016 Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars. Now we already have our front one on. Our part numbers for each piece, our crossbar is RRBA118B-2. For our Foot Packs we have RRRLKVA and for our Fit Kit for the Accent, that part number is DK289. Like I said we already have the front bar on, we're going to show you how we put we put this last foot pack together. Then put it on the bar and load it up onto our vehicle.

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent we're going to be test fitting the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System. We're using the 58 inch square bars, that's part number THLB58, the Traverse Foot Pack System, part number TH480 and the Thule Fit Kit, part number THKIT1657. I've already pre-assembled three of the foot packs. I wanted to show you on the fourth one exactly how to get these put together. We're going to open the cover on the end and we're going to have two things that we need to add that come out of our foot pack. One's going to be our clip that goes around the underside of our roof line. The other is going to be the pad. This is what mates to our roof surface and keeps us from having any scratches or anything like that. As you can see the shape of the part that the pad fits on here is going to be in this same shape as the pad on our foot pack.



Thule Roof Rack Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System. We're using the 53 inch Aero Blades, their part number is THARB53. We're using the Rapid Traverse Foot Pack Kit. This is TH480R, and also the Thule Fit Kit, part number THKIT1657. I've pre-assembled three of our foot packs. We've got our rear bar mounted on our car. I want to show you how the fourth foot pack is assembled just so you have very clear instruction on that.



Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent were going to be test fitting the Yakima Round 48-inch Crossbars for Yakima Roof Rack System using part numbers Y00408, Y00699, Y00635 and Y00124. With the roof rack already assembled well set the front crossbar onto the vehicle. Well then check the Yakima Fit Guide for the included instructions to determine the measurement from the front part of the glass to the first part of the Q tower. Well measure the passengers side first part of the glass to the first part of the tower, 4 inches, and then well move to the other side where we will do the same. We need to make sure that we get the crossbar perpendicular to the vehicle to ensure the tower gets a good fit to the vehicle. Once we have established its position, well go ahead and clamp it down and secure the crossbar to the vehicle.



Thule AeroBlade Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent, we'll be test fitting the Thule AeroBlade load bars, part number THARB53, the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack foot pack, part number TH480R, and the Thule roof rack fit kit for Traverse foot packs, part number THKIT1657. Now to begin our test fit, we've already assembled our load bars according to the instructions found in the fit kit. We'll begin by placing the front load bar on top of the roof, where a measurement will be needed. We'll measure from the leading edge of the windshield to the leading edge of our foot, and it should measure 7-1/4". We'll need to do this on both sides of the vehicle to ensure that the load bar is perfectly fit to the vehicle. We'll then use the included AcuTorque tool found with each foot to tighten it down, working our way back and forth on the vehicle, making sure that we tighten them evenly.



Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2011 Hyundai Accent, we'll be test fitting the Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack System using part numbers Y00699, Y00124, and Y00408. To begin our test fit. We'll simply open all four doors on our vehicle. We can then set the front crossbar on top of the roof. In order to find the location for our front crossbar, we will need to do a measurement. We'll measure from the top of the windshield back on our roof, 6 inches.

RockyMounts Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Hyundai Accent

Today, on our 2015 Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test-fit of the Rocky Mountains Brass Knuckle Roof Mounted Bike Rack. The part number is RKY1202. Now, we have a bike already on the rack, and we have the rack hooked to our vehicle. I'm just going to show you a few things here. Like they call it, they call it brass knuckle, if you can see in how this engages. You see to disengage it, you push the blue button while we're holding our bike, and pull up.

Today on our 2016 Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Fork Lock III roof-mounted bike rack. That part number is INA391. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're just going to go how we do that. We have a ratcheting strap here in the back. We're going to push down on our black button and be able to lift that up and set it off to the side.

Today, on our 2016 Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fit of the Kuat Trio Roof-Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is TR02. Now, we already have our bike strapped down. That's the first thing we're going to show you. Then, we're going to go over how our bike rack is attached to our crossbars. Here at the back, we have a strap that's going to keep our wheel secured. You can easily just push on the button, lift that strap up, and set it off to the side. Now, up at the front, we have a fork mount here. We've got that skewer that's going to hold our forks in place.

Today on our 2016 Hyundai Accent we're doing a test fit of the Inno Fork Lock roof mounted bike rack. That part number is INXA391. We already have our bike secured on our rack. Today on our 2016 Hyundai Accent we're doing a test fit of the Inno Multi-Form Lock Roof Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is INA392. Now we already have our bike connected to the rack. We first wanted to show you how we secure that down and then we'll go over how we secure down our rack to our vehicle. Here on the back wheel cradle we have a ratcheting strap. We're just going to push on the black button here and release that. We head up to the front we can undo our locking cover here, fold back our anti-theft and tamper device and then we can open up our skewer. We'll turn one way or the other to loosen and tighten that skewer around our fork mounts.



Inno Roof Bike Racks Review - 2016 Hyundai Accent

Today on our two thousand sixteen Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fit of the Inno slim-fork roof mounted bike rack. That part number is INA387. We already have our bike strapped to our rack. We're first going to show you how we secure that down, and then we'll go over how we secure the rack to our cross bars. Here in the back we have a tire clamp. Which is going to hold our back tire in place. To loosen that, we're just going to rotate this knob here on the end.



Thule Roof Bike Racks Review - 2016 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2016 Hyundai Accent we're doing a test-fit of the Thule ThruRide Roof Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is TH535. We already have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you how we do that, and then we'll go over how we secure the rack to our crossbars. Here at our back wheel cradle, we'll see that we have a ratcheting strap, push the grey button and we can release that. We also have a bushing here to protect your bike tire. If we check out up front, you will see a skewer here. This is going to be a different type of skewer, this can actually be used for thru-axle bike, or you can use it for your fork mounts with the skewer you see here.



Thule Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Accent we're doing a test fit of the Thule full ride roof bike rack. Part number is TH535. Now, I have a bike already in our rack and it's up on our vehicle. Going to show you a few things now. How our bike is hooked up, there are forward mounts up here. We have secured this nice and secure, so we won't have any problem there. Toward the back we have a wheel cradle and we have a strap with bushings to protect your spokes and your tires.

Today, on our 2015 Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fir of the Thule Canyon Roof Cargo Basket. The part number is TH859. We have the basket already on our vehicle. It's hooked up to our roofing system. The dimensions are 49 by 40 by 6. It can hold up to 150 pounds, but we always say, look at your owner's manual and see exactly how much your roof can actually hold. I have 3 of the 4 hold downs on. Right here, we have our plate for the two spacers.

Today on our 2016 Hyundai Accent we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack mountain trail rooftop bike carrier. That part number is RBC035. Now we already have our bike up there and secure. We're first going to show you how we secure that down, then we'll go over some features of the rack. We'll start here in the back. We have a ratcheting strap that's going to hold our tire in place. We'll push on our black button here and that will allow us to release that.

Thule Big Mouth Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent we're going to be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth. This is a fork clamp style roof mounted bike rack. It's part number is TH599XTR. We've got the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System that we've already installed on the accent so we're going to begin our test fit by placing the bike rack directly up onto our load bars. We're going to separate the 2 clamps located here in the front, bringing the T-bolts back behind our bars. We'll bring the lower portions of our clamp around the underside. We'll slide the T-bolt back into the lower portion of the clamp. Then we can use the black wing nuts located on top here to tighten those down.



RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent we're going to be test-fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number RKY1014. To install the bike rack we'll lift up the carrier and set it on top of our load bars. We'll feed the straps at the head of the bike carrier around our front bar, lock them back into the head and use an Allen key to tighten them down. Then we can reinstall the cover on the head of the bike rack. At the back we'll use the clamp and two wing nuts to secure the rear of the bike rack to our rear load bar. Once we've done that we're ready to load up our bike. We'll make sure that the skewer at the front is open and that the wheel strap at the rear of the bike is also open. We'll pick the bike up, place the rear wheel into the wheel tray and drop the front fork down into our skewer.



Kuat TRIO Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent we're going to be testing the Kuat TRIO. This a fork clamp style roof mounted bike rack. This is in the black and chrome. It's part number TR02. Now to begin our test fit, we're going to place the TRIO right up onto our Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System. We'll take one of the black rubber coated metal U-bolts, bring it around the underside of our load bar, and thread on one of our cylinder nuts.



Thule Sprint Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Sprint. This is a fork clamp style roof mounted bike rack. It's part number is TH528. We've got the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on our Accent, so we'll begin our test fit by placing the rack right up onto our load bars. We'll bring the black rubber coated metal straps around the underside and position our, the upper portions of our clamp directly on top of the bars. With those in place, we're going to bring our metal strap up to the head of the carrier here and we're going to fit it into the two small indentations. We'll then come to the rear, and tighten up the black lever. When it's out straight like this, you can get a lot of turns on it very rapidly to take out the slack and then we'll turn it over into it's lever position to get more torque on it.



Swagman Upright Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Swagman Upright. This is a frame clamp style roof mounted bike rack. It's part number is S64720. Now we have the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on the Hyundai, so we'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack right up onto our crossbars. At the front, we're going to take one of the U-bolts, we'll bring it around the underside of our crossbar, fit it up through the head of the carrier and thread on two wing nuts. We're going to leave these loose for now just until we have our rack adjusted properly. We'll take a second U-bolt, bring it up through the other side of the carrier after going around our crossbar and thread two wing nuts on it as well.



Rhino Rack MountainTrail Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail. This is a fork clamp style roof mounted bike rack. It's part number is RBC035. We've got the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on the Accent, so we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack up onto our load bars. As we do it here at the front, we'll want to bring the two black rubber coated metal straps around the underside. We'll then remove the black cover, place those straps into the head of the carrier and then we'll tighten down the main bolt, located here in the middle using a hex head wrench. With the front of the rack secure, we can replace our cover, then we'll move to our rear clamp. Here we're going to loosen both of our wing nuts up, and we're going to remove one completely.



Yakima FrontLoader Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent

Today we have a 2013 Hyundai Accent and were going to test fitting the Yakima Frontloader Roof Mounted Bike Carrier part number Y02103. To install the carrier, set it on top of our load bars and well fit the head of our bike carrier around the front load bar and use the hand knob to tighten the clamp down. Then well take the clamp in the rear and slide it over our rear load bar and use the T-bolt and included wing nut to tighten it down. With that done, our bike rack is secured to our roof rack and were ready to load up a bike. We need to make sure that the front wheel hoop is up and open. Then well pick up our bike and set it in the carrier.

Thule Force XXL Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box. This is going to offer 21 cubic feet of storage space. It has a nice AeroSkin black finish. It's part number is Th626. We're already got the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack system installed on the Accent. We're going to place our cargo box right up onto our load bars. We found it's easiest to place one hand behind the locking mechanism and one hand in front to stabilize it as we put it on.



Thule Sonic XXL Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent we're going to be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL rooftop cargo box. It offers 22 cubic feet of storage space and comes in a nice silver finish. Its part number is TH636S. Now we've already got the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system installed on the accent so we're going to begin our test fit by placing this big cargo box right up onto our roof rack. Now with these larger boxes we found it's easier if you place a hand in front of a lock and a hand just behind the lock to try to help you balance it. We're going to place the box just over the load bars. With the feed hanging out of the bottom, we found this to be the best time to get these feet lined up so they're going to go around the bars.



Thule Sonic Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box. It offers 13 cubic feet of storage space and comes in a gloss black finish, it's part number is TH634B. We've already got the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System installed on the Accent, so we'll begin our test fit by placing the box directly up onto our load bars. The feet are designed to hang out of the bottom of the box. We've found this to be the best time to get them in line so they'll go around our bars. With all four of our feet around our bars, let's take a quick look to be sure we have the box centered on the vehicle, looks pretty good. We'll then come here to the passenger side, open the box and reach in and tighten the two knobs located closest to us.



Thule Pulse Large Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box. This offers 16 cubic feet of storage space and it has a nice matte black finish. It's part number is TH615. We've got the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on the Accent, so we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box right up here onto our load bars. This box is designed to open from the passenger side, so we're going to favor this side as we install it. We'll take a quick look to be sure we have it straight, move the front end over a little bit. We're then going to open the box up.



Thule Pulse Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, were going to be test fitting the Thule Pulse XL Roof Top Cargo Box. This is a nice matte black finished. Its part number is TH Excuse me, 614. Now weve got the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system that weve already installed on the Accent. Well begin our test fit by placing our cargo box right up onto our roof line or our roof rack rather. This box is designed to open from the passenger side.



Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, were going to be test fitting the Thule Force Large Roof Top Cargo Box. It offers 13 cubic feet of storage space and has a nice aero skin black finish. Its part number is TH624. Now weve already got the Thule rapid traverse roof rack system installed onto our Accent. Were going to begin by placing the cargo box right up onto those load bars. The feet on the box are designed to hang out of the bottom.



Thule Pulse Alpine Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent we're going to be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine. This is a rooftop cargo carrier. It offers 11 cubic feet of storage and it comes in a nice matte black finish. Its part number is TH613. We've already got the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system installed on the Accent so we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly up onto our load bars. This box is designed to open from the passenger side so we're going to favor it to this side as we install it. I'm going to take a quick look just to be sure our box is sitting straight on top of the vehicle.



Thule Hyper XL Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, were going to be test fitting the Thule Hyper XL. This is a cargo box that offers 17 cubic feet of storage space. As you can see, it comes in a nice two tone black and silver. The part number on this is TH612. Weve already got the Thule rapid traverse roof rack system installed on the Accent. Were going to begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars.



Thule Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Thule MOAB, the mother of all baskets. It's a roof top mounted cargo basket. It's part number is TH690XT. Now we've already got the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System installed on our vehicle, and I've removed one carriage bolt and one wing nut from three of the clamps. I'll show you on the fourth one here how to do that. Simply just loosen up the wing nut, push out your carriage bolt, and remove it. Now a good tip with this is to remove the same wing nut from each clamp or the side wing nut from each clamp.



Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent, were going to be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Roof Mounted Cargo Box, part number Y07192. To install the cargo box, go ahead and set it up onto of our crossbars and then well fit the clamps over our crossbars opening each side of the box to tighten them down. The black knobs on the clamps allow them to slide when loosened and the red knobs are what will close the claw around the crossbar. Once we have all four clamps in position and tightened down, our box is mounted and were ready to load it up. That concludes our test fit of the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Roof Mounted Cargo Box, part number Y07192 on our 2013 Hyundai Accent. .



Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Pulse Medium rooftop cargo box, measuring 14 cubic feet, in matte black, part number TH614. To install the cargo box, begin by placing it on top of your load bars. When placing it on top of your load bars, make sure that the clamps hanging out of the bottom of the cargo box go around each load bar. Go ahead and open the cargo box and tighten each clamp by using the twist hand knobs located inside. Once you have each clamp secured and tightened, you can now close your box, turn the key in the locked position, and you're ready to hit the road. This does it for the test fit of the Thule Pulse Medium rooftop cargo box, part number TH614, on our 2013 Hyundai Accent.

We're just going to line our carriers up so they're even on our crossbars, and make sure that the straps are sitting so they'll be underneath our crossbars as well. We're going to start by checking to see if our strap is long enough to fit into our groves here and since it's not, we're just going to loosen it. We're going to use this red knob here to loosen and tighten that strap.

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Snow pack ski and snowboard carrier. That part number is TH7326. Now we have the first one already on, very easy to install. Fits on all your crossbars. We have one here. What I want to do is kind of line it up with the first one.



Yakima FatCat Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent well be test fitting the Yakima FatCat 6 Locking Roof Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier part number Y03088. With our roof rack system already assembled to the vehicle, well start with the front part of the carrier. Well open up the jaws of the carrier and bring the rubber coated steel straps around the front part of the front crossbar. Well bring the straps up and around and snap them into position with the jaws of the carrier opened up on the inner side of the carrier well tighten down the lever and snap it into position. Well then set the rear part of the carrier on the rear crossbar, bring the rubber coated steel straps around the bottom of the crossbar and snap them into position and again, tightening the lever and snap that in position as well. Now with the carrier secured to the vehicle crossbars were ready to load up our gear.

Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent were going to be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi Standup Paddleboard Carrier part number TH810. To install the carrier well take half of the carrier and set it up on top of the front load bar. Well feed the speed link straps around the load bar and back into the heads. Then we can use the hand knobs to tighten down the straps. Next, well take the second half of the carrier and place it on top of the rear load bar. We want to make sure that the second half lines up nicely with the front half so we can carry our paddleboard in a nice straight line.
