Is it possible to buy the base while keeping the old head assembly? We switched from a 2021 GMC to a 2026 RAM and have a BandW Companion.

Hey Megan, yes you sure can! I'm glad you asked as you'll be able to save some time and money.
I see you were looking at the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel For Ram # BWRVK3600. This fits your 2026 RAM 3500 and consists of the Base # BWRVB3600 and Head # BWRVC3006.
The 2021 GMC fit for the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel For Chevy/GMC is part # BWRVK3715 which consists of the Base # BWRVB3715 and the same exact Head # BWRVC3006 as the Ram kit.
So if you have that setup on your GMC and want it to fit the 2026 RAM, you'll only need to buy the new base part # BWRVB3600.
What do you usually tow with your rigs? Toy Hauler or something of that nature?
