Maintenance Greasing of B&W Companion Hitch Head

Does the Pin clip on the hitch need to be lube were the Trailer Pin goes in.BWRVK3600

On the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs # BWRVK3600, the moving components of the locking jaws need to be lubed but the pin does not need lube. These jaws are the only part of the hitch that requires grease for maintenance other than the puck locks where the mechanism needs to turn. I recommend some spray white lithium grease as needed to keep the jaw and springs working correctly as well as those locking feet moving freely. Not much grease is needed to keep things working and over greasing can cause a mess, so I recommend having a shop towel handy as you add grease.
