Hey Ken, welcome back! So this is a really great question but at the end of the day the Curt A25 part # C16046 and the B and W Companion part # BWRVK3600 that both fit the OEM pucks of your 2026 Ram 3500 are really nice hitches that you can't go wrong with. Now with that said I would give the edge to the Companion. The Companion is widely considered to be the best hitch on the market because of how well it's made, how easy it is to use, and how quiet it is. It also has ability to to quickly remote the head of it so that you can split up some of the weight a little easier when installing/removing it. So I would recommend the Companion. What are you towing?

I have only used the curt; so I am biased; The curt has worked well; it does have a large footprint in the bed, I do appreciate the color coded lock status. Some hitching issues with it sticking; ie not auto seating/locking when the kingpin should have engaged. Little lube and cursing fixed that well enough

Hey Ken, I have a 2023 Ram 2500 6.4l, 4.10 gears with leveling kit and rear Airift bags. When I purchased mine I originally purchased the B&W hitch you're looking at. They're built well and I liked the Made in USA but I ended up selling it and ultimately went with the Curt hitch. The height of the B&W was a problem for me. The Curt can sit lower which is what I needed to tow almost level. With the B&W just sat too high. All and all I'm very happy I switched the Curt tows quiet and its the easiest for hooking and unhooking IMO. Very happy with my decision to sell the B&W and end up with the Curt. Hope this helps. Safe travels.

We have the A25 and love it. Was easy to install and very easy to hook our fifth wheel up. We have a Ram 3500 dually and tow a 21K# Riverstone Legacy. We love the color coded lock status. We also added a red sharpie line up and down when lock as an additional safety measure to the color coding. If the like is straight up and down and the color code is green put the pin in and roll! Travel safe!

2025 RAM 3500 DRW 6.7l Cummins. Initially ordered the B&W. Packaging did not survive UPS handling and hitch was pretty beat up. Would have worked, but when you spend this kind of money, it needs to be in better condition. Also (as noted in another comment), the B&W sits higher even at its lowest adjustment. This would have been a huge issue as my trailer would have exceeded the legal 13' 6" height limit even with the air bags down. Sent the B&W back and ordered the Curt. Curt was easy to install (actually assembled it right in the truck bed - keeping all connections loose until everything was in place, then tightened and torqued as required). The hitch has performed flawlessly, easy to see to align for hook-up and the color-coded system is a nice touch. It has always worked, but you should always do a pull test and visually verify the kingpin is engaged in the jaws. The Curt A25 is a (very) few pounds lighter than the B&W if you ever need or want to remove it from the truck. I like that I can remove the 5th wheel head assembly from the base and split the weight of the Curt (sounds like the B&W is similar, as noted by Jameson's comment). My back likes it even more! All in all, you can't go wrong with either hitch (just watch your height with the B&W!).
