The Curt A25 # C16046 and Q25 # C16049 are both excellent 5th wheel hitches however there are a few upgrades on the newer Curt A25 # C16049 that make it the superior hitch and my personal recommendation.
The primary difference between the two models is with the head. The Curt A25 features a stronger head unit with better materials that's going to hold up better over time. The jaws have also been upgraded to provide a more secure connection with the trailer and allow for a smoother ride. The head on the A25 can also be easily removed from the base by pulling just 1 pin, making it a simple 1 person job. The Curt Q25 requires you to remove a couple pins and the head itself is a bit heavier.
The Curt A25 as a whole is lighter by about 15 pounds too which can be the difference in saving your back over time.
The hitch will drop right into the factory pucks on your Ram. I have attached a short video review on this unit that you can check out as well.
